Mother’s Day can bring joy, gratitude, grief, memories, and complicated feelings all at once. This Sunday, we’ll take time to honor mothers and the women who have nurtured, prayed, encouraged, taught, and loved so faithfully.

But even more, we’ll look to the faithful love of God, who says in Isaiah 66:13, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”

Join us this Mother’s Day at Rexmont Church as we worship together, give thanks, and remember that in every season of life, we are held by a faithful God.

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝟱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 — 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿𝘀.

Here are three questions to reflect on this week:

1) Where is God calling me to let my Sunday worship become Monday obedience?
2) What is one small, practical way I can show justice, mercy, or fairness this week?
3) Who around me might be overlooked, unheard, or in need of compassion?

As we reflect on 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣, here are three questions to carry with you today:

1) Have I gotten comfortable with anything in my life that God is calling me to confront?
2) Is my worship flowing from a surrendered heart, or have I fallen into routine?
3) Could God be using conviction or difficulty to call me back to Him?

Take a moment today to pray through these questions and ask the Lord to speak clearly to your heart.
