As many of you know, I’ve recently taken on a new role at the high school and am also coaching wrestling. With those responsibilities, my free time has become more limited, and I’m not able to coach our weekly class like I have in the past.

I know the gym has been a blessing to the children of our church, and I want to continue providing a place where they can learn, grow, build discipline, and develop self-control.

Every Sunday after service, from 12:00–1:00 PM, we will have the gym open. I’ll be there to help with anything needed and will also lead a basic wrestling class for the youth.

Going forward, we’re also going to open the boxing and aerobic machines up for church members to use during the open gym.

My hope is that we can continue using this space to serve our church, invest in our kids, and encourage one another to take care of our bodies and grow in discipline.

I’m thankful we have the opportunity to provide this space, and I’m excited to see how God continues to use it.
