We are excited to announce that Dr. J. David Apple has accepted the call to become the next pastor of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. Dr. Apple received a Bachelor of Arts degree in religious education in 1977, followed by a Masters of Religious Education in 1979. He obtained his Doctor of Ministry in 2022 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He has served churches over the past forty-five years in North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. Dr. Apple reports, "I passionately commit to serving the Lord, who has been leading me to serve churches and individuals, particularly in Biblical teaching, preaching, disciple-making, and pastoral care." Dr. Apple and his wife, Karen, will be transitioning from Georgia in the coming weeks. They have two children and three grandchildren.

We are thankful to the Pastor Search Committee for their hard work over the past several months and for their recommendation of Dr. Apple. We look forward to his leadership and service in our church and the community.
