As Shepherd’s Pack begins a new school year, we close the books on the previous year, where we served an average of 400 kids each week. Widow’s Sons ( Solomon’s Tribe), Laclede Masonic Lodge 83, and Missouri Masonic Home, “Thank you” for being such an important partner through your generous financial gifts in making sure that Laclede County kids have adequate food during the weekends.

The 2026-27 School year is off and running! We’ve had 2 weeks and have packed over 700 bags for our kids’ weekend food needs. Shepherd’s Pack could not function without our faithful team members from numerous area churches and the community. We are lucky to have folks from White Oak Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church help pack and support us financially. Thank you WOPCPC!!

Today we had the opportunity to say “Thank you” to the caring folks of Mid-Missouri Bank of Lebanon. Your generous donation towards food security for our kids means so much!

Who said you can’t have fun while you work? Over 200 people had FUN and WORKED to help those experiencing food insecurity. Thank you Laclede Literacy Council for sponsoring this event!! We packed 25,000 meals this morning. We are grateful that many of these meals will go to the kids participating in the Shepherd’s Pack Food Program. Good mission, Good People and a Great community!

From Kids to Kids!!! The Vacation Bible School children at Orla Baptist Church of Lebanon, MO gifted the Shepherd’s Pack program with over 300 food items. Their mission was to select and provide food items for fellow students who may be experiencing hunger on weekends! What a wonderful blessing and life lesson from the hearts and hands of children!! Thank you!
