It's hard to believe we have just two Sundays left worshipping with Pastor John and Beth. John has been our pastor for the past six years. All of us at Mt. Wilson love them both! Over the years, we've learned to know that John is a great kidder, and is so fun to be around. He's also so caring and someone who is easy to talk to and share with. He's a great counselor and a true friend. Beth is one of the sweetest people around, a prayer warrior, and a compassionate friend. She's the model of a pastor's wife, possessing all the characteristics of the Fruit of the Spirit. Both John and Beth show their Christian love constantly to us at Mt. Wilson and to everyone around them. They have been a blessing to our church and wonderful leaders. We will miss them terribly, but we celebrate with them too ❤️
We're having a "good bye" service on Sunday, August 16. Pastor John will share his last message with us at 9am. At 10:30am, we'll begin our special celebration for John & Beth. We'll finish out the day with a retirement party luncheon. Because we're making "Mount Wilson's Famous Chicken BBQ", we do need a headcount for the luncheon. Please contact the church no later than this Sunday, August 9 if you plan to attend.
