Mark your calendar! It almost time for the Knights of Columbus Council 6871 Annual Memorial BBQ Dinner and Auction - the pulled-pork dinner will be on 3 October, 5pm at the St Francis De Sales Church Lebanon Family Center, 345 Grand Ave, Lebanon.

The online auction is up and running with new items being added throughout the month. We are also drawing for 3 separate gift certificates with values of $500, $300 and $200 to the Butcher Shop in Camdenton, MO.

Inspired by the Apostolic Exhortation for Catholic men written by Bishop Olmsted of Phoenix, the Knights of Columbus produced a video series which seeks to answer the question of what it means to be a man and how to live as a man in today's world.

Golka speaks how the Knights of Columbus has made an influence in his and his family's life and how he believes we are called as Knights as individuals and as an organization to hear our Lord's calling to live with the love of Christ in all we do (Homily starts at 29:44)

Please thank Jessica and Jeremy Weaver as the July Knight/Family of the Month for all they do in supporting our council, parish and community. The August Knight/Family of the Month are the Knights/Family Members who raised the funds and installed the fence next to the Mumford buidling which will allow our parish children to play in safety. This Friday is the Feast day of Pope St Pius X who is the patron saint of our diocese and our council. If available, please consider attending the morning mass at 8:30 am and spending some time in spiritual reflection in the presence of our Lord in Adoration from 9 am - 8pm (sign-up sheet in the vestibule). Adoration is one of the important ways we can build a personal relationship with our Lord.
