We live in such a segmented society.
Barriers have been built between cultures, races, genders, and economic classes, making it difficult at times to truly interact with people who are different from us. Yet Jesus’ family is different.
Jesus’ family isn’t dependent upon a particular background. It isn’t based on where you grew up, what your job is, or how much melanin is in your skin. Instead, Jesus offers everyone the opportunity to be part of His family when we hear God’s Word and put it into practice.
This Sunday morning at Maple Hill, we’ll explore how we become a part of Jesus’ family and how we can make sure we aren’t putting up barriers that cause others to feel excluded from His family.
