Guiding students to their True Life in Christ ❤️ True Life Youth Ministries, formerly Lebanon Valley Youth For Christ.

Founded in 1945, True Life Youth Ministries reaches the youth of our community. Our leadership team consists of a board of directors comprised of local business and community leaders who work closely with the executive director, who in turn oversees our staff. Originally organized to provide evangelistic, Saturday night youth rallies for teenagers across Lebanon County, True Life Youth Ministries

began a transition in 1992 of reaching the youth living in Lebanon city. Since that time God has transitioned us into a dynamic urban ministry reaching children and teenagers from some of the most neglected neighborhoods in our community.

Our True Life After-School Learning Lab launches September 9, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us make it a meaningful, fun, and encouraging place for our students!

You can serve one day a week, twice a month, or even once a month—there’s a place for everyone!!

Here are a few ways you can help:

Reading Buddies — Read with a student, help with homework, and encourage them.
School Pickup Drivers — Help bring students safely from school to True Life.
After-School Volunteers — Build relationships, help with STEM activities, games, transitions, dinner, and more!
Meal Team — Help provide dinner for our students and volunteers.
Junior Leaders — Christian junior and senior high-school students are welcome to serve!

No teaching experience is required—just a willing heart and a desire to invest in the next generation.

Our Learning Lab runs Monday–Thursday, September–May, and even 30 minutes of your time can make a difference.

“I volunteer at True Life because…” 🤍
Sometimes we think God is calling us to do something big before we realize He’s simply asking us to take the next step.
For Kate, one of our volunteers, that step started in 2021. She was looking for a way to use her time for something that mattered, and God brought True Life to mind. What started as a decision to serve has turned into years of relationships, memories, lessons, and a deeper understanding of what it means to love the people God has placed around us.
One things she’s learned along the way is that “God is the one who does the great work and my job is just to take a step where I am and trust Him to lead me from there.”
And maybe one of the most beautiful parts of serving is realizing that you don’t just come to True Life to teach, but to also learn.
Our volunteers are reminded that every student has value, every story matters, and circumstances never change how deeply God loves someone.
And sometimes… you even find a community for yourself along the way.
If you’ve ever thought about volunteering but wondered, “what do I even have to offer?” take the step.�There’s always something you can do. Let God decide how He’ll use you🩵

The building has felt a little quieter without our students around, but we’ve been getting ready for their return! We’ve been planning, preparing, and praying for another year of meaningful moments, big laughs, new friendships, and opportunities to grow in the Lord together.

After Labor Day, we can’t wait to open our doors and fill this place with tall the things that makes True Life so special!!

We are so excited to offer the STEM after-school learning lab at True Life this school year!!⭐️

Our free after-school program for 3rd & 4th graders gives students a safe, supportive place to spend their afternoons while they also build academic, social, and life skills!!
