Holiness meeting 9/6/26

08/31/2026

Friends, we are less than three weeks away from starting registration for our 2026 Angel Tree program.

If your family needs help providing Christmas gifts for your children this year, please read the information below carefully.

📅 Registration opens:
September 14, 2026 at 9:00 AM

Registration will be online only. We will post the registration link on our page, so please keep an eye on our page that morning.

Who is eligible?
Angel Tree provides holiday assistance through new toys and clothing for children ages 0–12 for families who are experiencing financial need.

Please have these documents ready:
• Child's birth certificate
• Proof of household income
• Any other required information or documents

(Please apply as soon as registration opens and make sure all information is accurate and all required documents are attached.)

A few important things to know:

This year, we hope to serve 1,000 children. Because of the number of families we serve, submitting an application does not automatically mean that you will be approved. Every application is reviewed individually based on the family's needs and requests.

Please keep your requests reasonable. Expensive or unrealistic gift requests will be rejected.

If you are already receiving Christmas assistance through another similar program, please do not apply for Angel Tree. We want to make sure that the families who need assistance most have an opportunity to receive it.

Registration may close early.
We usually reach 1,000 children within about two weeks, but we cannot guarantee that registration will remain open for the full two weeks. Once we reach our limit of 1,000 children, the registration system will close. Applications submitted after registration closes will not be accepted.

So, if you need assistance, please don't wait. Mark your calendar for September 14 at 9:00 AM and apply as soon as registration opens.

(And if you are in a position to help a child this Christmas, we would love for you to consider adopting an Angel Tree tag. Tags will be available beginning October 5, 2026 - stay tuned for more info).

Thank you for helping us make Christmas a little brighter for children and families in our community.

What a blessed time we had yesterday at our Divisional Family Day. We were reminded of God’s faithfulness through the life of Joshua and a beautiful time to come together as a Salvation Army family.

We also had the opportunity to farewell our beautiful Cadets, Wesley and Kelissa Brugger, and their sweet daughter, Elisabeth, as they continue on this journey God has called them to.

The Lebanon Corps is incredibly proud of you. We’re praying that God continues to guide you, strengthen you, and use you wherever He leads. Your Lebanon family is cheering you on.

And what a way to end the day. We went to Sight & Sound and watched Joshua. Seeing the story come to life on stage was so powerful. It was one of those moments that makes you stop and think again about God’s faithfulness, His promises, and what it means to trust Him even when we don’t know what’s ahead.

Thank You, Lord, for such a beautiful and blessed day.

Community Garden Update: 🌱

Today’s harvest brought in over 80 pounds of fresh produce from our garden, currently being shared with food pantry clients.

We still have volunteer opportunities if you would like to come out and help in the garden. (Next week we will be harvesting the rest of the beat roots and cabbage).

Thank you to all our volunteers who have given their time to keep the garden growing.

If you're looking for a free backpack, there will be an opportunity tomorrow. Stop by our canteen for a drink/ snack.
