Our Mission Statement:
Reaching out to others, Living in faith, Celebrating Christ's love. Our Purpose Statement:
The Purpose of Resurrection Lutheran Church is to BE the Light of Jesus to the community and the world through worship and service. The Guiding Principles of Resurrection Lutheran Church:
All are welcome and invited here. We teach and learn God's Word through our Lutheran Theology.

As recipients of God's Grace, we extend Grace, Love, and Peace to all. Fellowship and Celebration are vital to who we are. We Are an Inclusive Church:
At Resurrection Lutheran Church we strive to be a welcoming community. We are called by the Gospel to live in a supportive faith community; a congregation of relationships connecting us with each other and with God. When we discover people who are feeling alone, feeling disconnected from God, or marginalized by another church, we want them to know that our doors are open for them to join us on our journey of faith together. We strive to accept people as they are, including le***an, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Our mission is to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ. All people, regardless of age, race, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or cultural background, are welcome at RLC. As a Lutheran Church, in accordance with the openness of the ELCA, we extend a hand of grace and peace to all who wish to join us. We believe all people are genuinely and entirely loved children of God, and we want them to know that. As disciples, we know that society is always in the midst of controversy, and that none of us has all the answers to some of the divisions within our society, but we know that God is capable of showing extravagant grace, radical inclusion, and relentless compassion in such abundance that all we can do is stand in awe and give thanks. No matter what a person's status, they are welcome to love and serve God in the faith community found at Resurrection Lutheran Church.

We need your help on Friday, 5/29! Please, join us in serving at the Lebanon Food Pantry and making a real difference for our neighbors in need.

If you’ve never volunteered before, you’re more than welcome—here’s what to expect: we arrive at 8:45 a.m., get organized, and begin with prayer before serving the first neighbor at 9:00 a.m. Together, we pack grocery bags tailored to each family’s size and needs, preparing enough food for about three days. It’s hands-on, meaningful work, and each shift is served by a small team of 6 volunteers.

The date for June is tentatively 6/26 (Our regular day is the first Friday, but a Memorial Service for a church member has us negotiating a switch with another group.

The pantry is located at 190 New Street. When you arrive, please help keep the parking lot open for operations by parking on the nearby street or at the Post Office next door.

If you’re looking for a simple but powerful way to serve, we’d love to have you with us this Friday.
