There is currently no waiting list for any of these classrooms (ages 3 through 5). All classrooms are private pay and it is not a part of the PreK Counts program. We are no longer associated with that specific state program.

We have some exciting new opportunities developing here at KCDC! We are expanding some of our classrooms to be able to enroll more students. We will be enrolling for the following classrooms for the 2025/2026 school year:
Preschool 3 (three year olds)
Preschool 4 (four year olds)
Montessori Room (three through five year olds)
Kindergarten Readiness (four and five year olds).

Last month marked the 25th Anniversary of Kochenderfer Christian Day Care. On Friday August 12th, we were able to celebrate this occasion with our current families and staff members as well as many former families and staff members from years past. In August 1997, the church opened their doors to families to provide care and teaching to children six weeks through twelve years of age. In the past twenty-five years, we were able to expand our classrooms to where we are able to educate and care for 125 children daily.

We were overjoyed and honored to be able to celebrate this occasion with our KCDC community with a carnival in the backyard. We had lots of games, food, and fun. We were also blessed with live music from New Birth’s worship team and their dance team, Mi Nueva Danza. They were also a large part of our community when we opened in August 1997.

At KCDC the teachers work on educating the children in important academic subjects, but we focus lots of time on social emotional development. It was such a joy to see the youngest members of our community be able to socialize and enjoy our carnival with their families in a safe and respectful way. We even spied a few groups of preteens and high schoolers hanging out together that were together in our center since infancy or the toddler classrooms. It was extremely humbling to know we were a part of starting such lifelong friendships.

The 25th Anniversary Committee would like to express our gratefulness to our fellow coworkers, family volunteers and community volunteers for helping us bring the carnival all together the day of the event. We couldn’t have accomplished the carnival without all your help and support that day.
