BEWARE, especially if you are an older, lonely single woman. This scam is going around. Common named guy like Dave, befriends lonely widows on FB/hangouts. Has a professional job in some foreign country & a handsome profile picture (someone else's). Woos you then asks for $ (nearly $3,000) to be sent to UN so he can get his $ when he returns to the U.S. Happened to a friend of mine who fortunately found out before she got "catfished".
