What makes a building strong? A solid foundation.

During the children’s message this Sunday, Pastor Jeff used a game of Jenga to help illustrate an important truth: Jesus is our cornerstone and our foundation. As blocks were removed, the tower became less stable, reminding us that when our lives aren’t built on the right foundation, things can start to wobble.

But when Jesus is at the center, He gives us strength, stability, and a firm place to stand through life’s ups and downs.

“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” — Psalm 118:22

Some questions in life feel heavy.

Wind. Flames. Different languages.
What seemed confusing and unexpected became the beginning of something powerful.

In Acts 2:1-4, the Holy Spirit came down at Pentecost — filling the disciples with courage, unity, and purpose. It was the beginning of the Church, and a reminder that God still moves in powerful ways today.

This past Sunday, our children learned that the Holy Spirit is with us too — guiding us, helping us share God’s love, and bringing people together.

“And all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit…” — Acts 2:4 🤍

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the depth of love shown through selflessness and courage.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to pray for the families carrying loss and to give thanks for those who served with honor.
