For 50 years, Vicki has been the heart behind so many unforgettable memories at Vacation Bible School.

Generation after generation of children have laughed, learned, sung, created, and grown in their faith because of the countless hours, boundless energy, and unwavering love she poured into this ministry.

This year marks Vicki’s “retirement” from VBS after five decades of faithful service—a milestone that is difficult to put into words. Fifty years of showing up. Fifty years of serving with joy. Fifty years of helping children experience the love of Jesus.

The impact of her dedication reaches far beyond a single week each summer. The seeds of faith she helped plant will continue to grow for years to come in the hearts of countless children and families.

Vicki, thank you for every lesson prepared, every decoration hung, every game organized, every encouraging word spoken, and every child who felt welcomed and loved because of you.

Your faithfulness has shaped our church in ways we may never fully know, and your legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

Please join us in celebrating Vicki and thanking her for 50 incredible years of service to our VBS ministry. We are endlessly grateful for the love, commitment, and servant’s heart she has shared with our church family.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

Thank you, Vicki. Your ministry has made an eternal difference. 💜

On Father’s Day, we celebrate and give thanks for the fathers and father figures who have shaped our lives with love, wisdom, and faith.

We also hold in prayer those who find this day difficult—those who grieve, long to be fathers, or carry complicated memories.

“The righteous who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him!” — Proverbs 20:7 (ESV)

May God strengthen, encourage, and bless all who nurture and guide others with Christlike love.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Kochenderfer Church 💙

This past Sunday, our children’s message reminded us that worship is a team effort.

From Sunday school teachers and greeters to musicians, tech teams, kitchen volunteers, and so many others, every person who serves helps us experience God’s love in a special way.

The Bible teaches us to be content—not by having more, but by trusting God and using the gifts He has already given us to serve others.

We are so thankful for everyone who shares their time, talents, and hearts each week. Your faithfulness helps make our church a welcoming place where people can grow closer to God.

Take a moment to thank someone who serves behind the scenes—you may be surprised by how many people help make worship possible each week!

“God, thank You for giving each of us unique gifts. Help us use them to serve You and others with joyful hearts. Amen.”

What does it mean to have “enough”?

We live in a world that constantly tells us we need more—more money, more success, more things, more status. Yet even when we get what we thought we wanted, it often doesn’t bring the satisfaction we expected.

This Sunday, we’ll explore Paul’s words in Philippians 4:10-20 and discover a different way of living—one marked by contentment, generosity, and trust in God.

Join us as we continue our series, Letters to the Church: Wisdom from Paul for the 21st Century American Church, with the message:

“Why Enough Isn’t Satisfying”

🕥 Combined Worship Service at 10:30 AM

Come worship with us and discover where true contentment is found. We’d love to see you there!

This Sunday marks the end of an extraordinary chapter in the life of our church.

After just shy of 62 years of faithful service, our beloved pianist and organist, Bernie Mease, will be retiring. For more than six decades, Bernie has shared her gifts with our congregation, filling our sanctuary with music that has inspired worship, comforted hearts, and helped countless people draw closer to God.

Words can hardly express our gratitude for the dedication, talent, and love she has poured into this church family through the years. Generations have been blessed by her ministry, and her impact will continue to be felt for years to come.

We invite everyone to join us this Sunday for a special combined worship service at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary as we celebrate Bernie’s remarkable legacy and thank her for 62 years of faithful service.

If you would like to share a greeting, memory, or well wishes for Bernie, please send them to Andy at [email protected] by Friday.

Bernie, thank you for every hymn, every prelude, every postlude, and every moment you used your gift to glorify God. We are forever grateful.

❤️ Please help us fill the comments with your favorite memories and words of appreciation for Bernie.
