I was talking with someone the other day processing what my life should look like the next couple of months. They helped me realize I was trying to wait for life to be like it was instead of accepting it never will be and that’s ok. I was trying to just survive on by until I was comfortable again. Comfortable meant life as I knew it.
-
Now I realize I need to learn to live in the season I am in, embrace the uncomfortable parts and accept the things I cannot change because life doesn’t revolve around me. We experience life, life does not experience us... This means so much is out of our control and we must go with the flow. If we fight it or try to make it make sense based off of what we KNEW we further strain our own selves.
-
Thank God for Grace. Grace that forgives me for missing the beauty in this season. Grace that forgives me for thinking life is wrong this way. Its not wrong, just different.
-
I am learning to live again, I encourage you to as well (if you haven’t already!). Live in joy in the midst of emotions actively choose Joy. Trust you are in the will of God and that is enough.

There is a lot of anxiety in the air. Trying to figure out what is the best decision to make with all these “uncertainties” in our future. The Lord reminded me this, “Hallelujah it is finished. Hallelujah it is done. God is alive.” He reminded me that there are no uncertainties in his Kingdom. When we have faith, faith in what we cannot see... we can trust that tomorrow we take care of itself.

I still however know that you can still feel uneasy, because I do too even with that reminder. We are human and that’s okay doesn’t make you a bad servant. Wether the world tells you or not, you are loved. Wether your family affirms it or not, you are loved. Wether you feel it or not, you are loved. You are loved by a perfect God despite this imperfect world. You are the apple of his eye, one of his favorites. He loves you, all of you. We at Crossroads love you, all of you. You are loved🤍

I told you all I bought some new bibles, and man I just can’t seem to put the Passion Translation down. I have been reading Psalm 40 everyday sometimes more than once.

The many truths I found that are applicable to this season of life for me is astonishing.

Here is a prayer that is laid on my heart from reading this passage.

Can’t wait to be back in church!!

We could not be more excited to be back at Crossroads this upcoming weekend, July 12th.

As most of you know, on Wednesday, June 24th, our County Mayor issued a "State of Emergency" for our county. This was in response to the increase in numbers of COVID19. The decision was made to allow things to settle down, before returning to services. In addition to the "State of Emergency," we were asked to wear masks when in public. This was not required, but recommended.

When services start this weekend, we will have proper protocols in place, but we "WILL NOT" be requiring you to wear a mask. We understand that everyone has their opinion and we encourage you to wear a mask if that makes you feel more comfortable in this environment, but masks are not going to be required to attend services. If you feel more comfortable staying at home, please understand that we support you in your choices. We look forward to being back at Crossroads on Sunday.
