Isaiah 43:1-3
But now, this is what the Lord says - he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: "Do not fear, for I have redeemedc you, I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when you pass through the rivers, the will not sweep over you. When you walk threough the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior: I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.
Deuteronomy 3:21-1
At that time I commanded Joshua: "You have seen with your own eyes all that the Lord your God has done to those kings. The Lord will do the swame to all the kingdoms over there where you are going.
Do not b e afraid of them, the Lord your God himself will fight for you."
At the time I pleaded with the Lord: "Sovereign Lord, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?
Psalm 24:1-7
The earth is the Lord's, and everthinhg in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.
Who may ascend the mountain on the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.
They will receive belssing from the Loird and vindication from God their Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seeks your face, God of Jacob.
Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory can come in.
Joshua a:1-9
After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses' aide: "Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them-to the Israelites.
I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.
Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates - all the Hittite country - to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.
No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
"Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful whereever you go.
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be carefuyl to do everything written in int. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discourages, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
