a. Stand committed to expository preaching that is faithful to the intent of each passage. Seek to have it permeate and direct every decision, word, and deed. Use it for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training.
3. The Church, we will…
a. Give it preeminence in our life. Seek to preserve its role in the world through maintaining doctrinal purity, appointing qualified leaders, and striving for maturity in the body. Call for personal holiness. Discipline unrepentant sin. Encourage biblical fellowship expressed in sacrificial love, unity, caring, humility, sharing, bearing burdens, exhortation, encouragement, and the use of spiritual gifts. Practice the two ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
4. Evangelism, we will…
a. Strive to reach the lost in distant lands and plant churches among them. Passionately pursue the winning of the lost in our area through every appropriate means.
