On May 29, the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth had their first Corpus Christi procession around the grounds with Saint Mary Academy students and Saint Mary College women participating. In later years, they were joined by the children of St. Vincent’s Orphanage and Guardian Angels Orphanage, operated by the Oblate Sisters of Providence.
