Another successful Faith Feast Fellowship Sunday is in the books. Thank you to everyone for their efforts - even if all you did was attend you played an important part!! The Board of Worship and Fellowship collaborated on the meal which featured pulled pork. Our guest speaker, arranged by Dawn Gnuthake, was Pastor Cook who spoke to us about the LUMA ministry in the greater KC area that he leads.

This weekend is Faith*Feast*Fellowship at Trinity! We will have only one worship service (with Holy Communion) at 10:45. There will be no Saturday evening service, and no Bible Class or Sunday School on Sunday morning. Following our worship service, we will serve lunch in the Fellowship Hall. The Board of Worship is providing pulled pork. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. We also ask that you bring a dishwasher or laundry detergent item to

Our guest speaker will be Pastor Phil Cook, who has served as the Executive Director of Lutheran Urban Mission Agency LUMA) in Kansas City. In this role he works to unite the ministry of the 48 LCMS congregations in the metro area to serve the city with the love of Jesus. He earnestly desires the fullness of the gospel to be experienced by all people from all nations and social groups. Prior to his time with LUMA, Pastor Cook served for 20 years as a pastor at churches in Flower Mound, TX and Shawnee, KS.

This afternoon our church building was transformed into a jungle and we are ready to begin our Rainforest Falls VBS tomorrow! Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped this afternoon. We still have room for more kiddos ages 3 years-completed 5th grade. So swing on by Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00!
