Pastor Curt is continuing our sermon series with 1 Peter 1:13-25. What does our hope in Christ have to do with the way we live today? Join us Sunday as we explore Holy Hope and what it looks like to live differently because of the incredible grace we’ve received through Jesus. We’d love to have you with us! 🙌

We snuck in to take some pictures yesterday📸

The lights were on, the AC was blasting, and our beautiful counters and cabinets are installed. We're getting closer to the finish line with our expansion! Move in day could be late this month or early next month. Stay tuned for final updates and official dates.

We're blessed to witness such an exciting time at The Journey!

It was another beautiful and joy-filled Sunday at The Journey. Thank you!

🔹Living Hope & Inexpressible Joy🔹
Pastor Curt began our new "Hopeful Exiles" sermon series based from the book of 1 Peter. Yesterday we focused on verses 1-12 and Pastor Curt broke down the passage into three key parts: God, Us, & the Prophets.

1. God causes and guards our salvation. Salvation is caused by God's mercy and the resurrection of Jesus, not human effort.

2. We have a living hope.Unlike a "dead hope" in oneself or worldly systems, Christian hope is alive because Christ is risen.

3. We rejoice with inexpressible joy. Believers are called to rejoice in their salvation even while they cannot see Christ. This joy is a present reality, not just a future promise, even in trials.

4. The prophets served our salvation. Old testament prophets predicted the sufferings and subsequent glories of Christ without fully understanding the timing. They were serving future believers!

🔹Welcome (officially) to our new new Ministry Intern, Adam Bevan! We are grateful to Adam for sharing his testimony, and that he and his family are at The Journey. He is doing big things. Please pray for Adam as he has started seminary classes! Pray for wisdom, endurance, and joy as he grows in his knowledge of God and prepares to serve Him in new ways.
