Hill Country Bible Church is hiring part-time Child Care Workers to help create a safe, warm place where kids from infancy through age 12 are loved well while their parents learn, connect, and grow.

You’ll serve at least one weekly shift:
🗓 Tuesday evenings, 5:30 to 9:00 pm
🗓 Thursday mornings, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
(plus Sunday afternoons and special events as needed)

Pay: $14/hour

Stop escaping. Stop controlling. Stop managing. Stop avoiding. Throw yourself on Him. He is good for it.

It’s not the absence of evil that changes a life, it’s the presence of Jesus. This week in Ephesians 5, we talked about guardrails, thankfulness, worship, and the God who wants to fill the space instead of just pointing at it.

We’re bringing something from our past back into the present… with a little bit of a different flavor. 🎃

On October 25, we’re opening up our campus for Trunk or Treat—a fun, family-friendly night where we can welcome our neighbors, spend time together, and create a great experience for families in our community.

There’ll be trunks. There’ll be candy. There’ll be food and games. And there’ll be plenty more to share soon.

For now, mark your calendar. We’re excited for this one. 🍬

Sometimes faith gets confused with optimism.

We tell ourselves to stay positive, hope for the best, or believe everything will work out the way we want it to.

But faith in God is something deeper.

Faith doesn’t ignore what’s hard or pretend our circumstances are different than they really are. It chooses to trust God in the middle of what is real. It takes what He has said and allows His truth to shape the way we think, the way we feel, and the way we live.

Maybe that’s a reminder we all need today: we don’t have to manufacture optimism. We can set our hearts on what is true and trust the God who already sees things exactly as they are.

This weekend, we continued our study through Ephesians with Week 5.
