Acolytes needed!

An acolyte in the United Methodist Church plays a vital role in our worship services. The acolyte is carrying the "Light of Christ" into and out of the sanctuary, symbolizing Jesus' presence and light going forth into world.It’s a great way for third graders and up to get involved, grow in faith, and develop leadership skills while serving the church community. Join us and be a part of something special!

A training will be scheduled in early September.
Our acolyte coordinator, Sarah Clay, will create a semester schedule after training. Your student may serve once or multiple Sundays a month. You may put in dates that your family is not available.

God is with you every step of the way—and so is your church family! As we gear up for a new school year, we invite children of all ages, college students, and teachers/educators to bring their backpacks or bags to our church service on August 9th. Pastor Pat will pray over your year ahead, and we will hand out a special reminder for your bag. Also, our kids and teens can pick up a special back-to-school goodie bag!
