SUMMER FUN!!!! 🤸‍♂️🌞 Our youth had the most amazing time at this past week. A week full of ropes courses, hiking, amazing fellowship and late night walmart and ice cream runs is a week well spent 😇!!!!

What a week!!! UM ARMY (like always!) was SO fulfilling and is such a testament to God’s unwavering goodness. Our youth served in Freeport, TX this past week building ramps, doing yard work, and most importantly spreading the word of God’s wonderful grace, even in the pouring rain!!! Until next year! 👋👷🥰🌞

HAPPY UM ARMY EVE!!!!!! We are so excited to kick off this amazing week TOMORROW!! In honor of UM ARMY being 1 day away, our amazing youth pastor had some great words to say about this coming week! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

“I love Umarmy because each year I see the amazing difference the church can have on the world when families come together to serve others. During these weeks, God always blesses our team with tons of laughter, joy, and stories of our time shared together. I can’t wait for this year’s camp!“

WHATTT!!! 2 days!!!!!??? For the last two days before UM ARMY, we have some testimonies from our wonderful adults that lead us throughout the week!! Here is one of our worship leaders ‘s experience with this week! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

“UMARMY is the one week a year where we get to put everything aside and focus on God and serving him. I feel closest to God during worship and every night during the week we get to spend time singing and praise him together. And we get to make lasting relationships and strengthen bonds along the way.”

“i love umarmy because of the people we get to help and becoming so close with the people in your group. you’re in such an unique situation with everyone that causes you to get so close to the people you’re working with. it is also so cool getting to see first hand how you’re helping these people and the impact you’re making on their lives!”

“Um army is literally my favorite week of the year. Getting to spread God’s love with the community, creating life long bonds with your teammates, and learning how to use the sawzall (my fav) makes the work in the heat more than worthwhile. Some of my favorite goofy memories of um army is when Craig almost got his finger smushed by a train, and Jacob ate a worm lol. If you’re on the fence about coming, get off! (Especially if it was built by Dax and Thomas). I LOVE UM ARMY”

“I love um army because i get to spend the week spreading the love of Jesus with some of my closest friends! um army is a week filled with hard work and absolute joy. Getting to know and help total strangers is a gift I am so grateful for!”

“I love UM ARMY because of the incredible relationships that are built—not just with the people in my work team or the other campers, but also with the clients we serve. There’s something powerful about working side-by-side with friends to bless someone in need, and seeing how grateful the clients are creates a bond that goes beyond just a week of service. Worship each night helps me truly feel the Spirit moving through everything we do. It reminds me why we’re there—not just to fix porches or paint walls, but to reflect Christ’s love in all we do. The unity, the purpose, and the presence of God make UM ARMY one of the most meaningful parts of my year.”
