We’re starting new units in Creek Kids today! Birth -3rd graders will begin Esther, where we will learn about how God Forgives and Rescues His People. (Esther 1). You can watch the part of the story of Esther here: https://youtu.be/HiqjaRGKgcw

4th & 5th Graders will begin a unit called Big Questions. The question that we’re talking about today is: How Do We Know Christianity is Really True? The unit is based off of books by Chris Morphew.

We will not have 4th & 5th Grade Creek Kids available on June 7th & 10th due to Creek Kids Camp.

Birth-K-3 Parents: Ask your kids about what they learned about the story of Esther today.
4th & 5th Grade Parents: Ask your kids if they believe that Christianity is true, and why.

It’s Promotion Day!!! We’re excited for all our grade level Creek Kids to move to their new grade level. Make sure you take a picture at the Promotion Day backdrop with their grade level sign!

Today is also Go Day! We are decorating bracelets and bookmarks to send with people from CCCC going on mission trips this summer all over the world! We are talking about the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), where followers of Jesus are called to Go, Make Disciples, and Teach and Baptize.

This week, pray with your kids for the people going on mission trips and for the kids who will receive the gifts they are making today.

It’s almost Promotion Day!!! On May 24th & May 28th (This Sunday & Wednesday), school-aged kids will be promoted to their new grade level!

*4 & 5 year olds going to Kindergarten in the Fall will be in K-3 Creek Kids!
*3rd Graders will move into the 4th & 5th grade room!
*5th Graders will move to Student Ministry!

Make sure you take some pictures of your kids with their new grade level sign in front of the Promotion backdrop!

We have had so much fun learning about the Book of Romans. Today, we’re finishing the unit as we learn that God’s Love is Worth Sharing. The Good News of Jesus is for everyone, and followers of Jesus are called to share it with others.

Romans 1:16 says: For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes.

Talk with your kids about who they can share the Good News of Jesus with., and talk to them about who you can share it with too!
