VBS 2026: Illumination Station! 🔦✨

This week has been nothing short of amazing as we learned that Jesus is the Light of the world! From worship and Bible lessons to crafts, games, music, snacks, and lots of smiles, it has been a joy-filled week.

We’re so thankful for every child who joined us and for our incredible volunteers who helped make this week so special!

VBS is next week at New Hope Baptist Church! 🔦

Get ready for Illumination Station, a fun-filled week where kids will learn how God’s Word lights the way in their everyday lives.

Each night will include Bible lessons, worship, crafts, games, music, snacks, and more as children grow in their faith and discover what it means to shine God’s light wherever they go.

New Hope Baptist Church would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in our Community Easter Hunt this afternoon. We were overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm of our volunteers and community members who came together to make this event such a wonderful success.

Our volunteers worked tirelessly to organize and carry out a fun-filled day of activities, games, and, of course, the egg hunt itself. Their dedication and hard work truly made a difference in the lives of the children and families who attended.

We also want to thank our local community for coming out and supporting this event. Your presence and participation helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of Easter.

We look forward to seeing you at future events and activities as we continue building a strong and vibrant community together.

Sunday, our Children’s Department of NHBC hosted its fourth annual Widows Valentines Luncheon following our Worship service. The children participating had the opportunity to serve our members a beverage, appetizer, main entree, and a dessert. Thank you to everyone involved who made this a successful tradition at NHBC!

We have been monitoring the forecast, and we have decided it is best not to have any in-person activities tomorrow. We will still have our live stream at 10:30 a.m. Join us online for morning worship. Stay warm, stay safe!

Due to the impending inclement weather, we will be canceling Sunday School this coming Sunday and will be having in-person worship at 10:30 a.m. We encourage everyone to keep an eye on the weather, and if you are uncomfortable getting out, please stay at home and join us on our livestream. You can view our services from the app, www.nhbcleaguecity.com,, YouTube, or Facebook.

We will be monitoring the weather closely on Saturday night and Sunday morning. If conditions are worse than forecasted and roads are dangerous, we will make an announcement on Sunday morning announcing the cancellation of in-person services as well. Everyone, stay warm and safe during this cold spell.
