Many of you knew Pastor Baker.

For some, he was your shepherd, your friend, or your first guide as you searched for meaning and purpose in this world.

For us at First Baptist Church of Leadville, Pastor Baker was the man who gave 26 years of his life serving and loving this community with his whole heart.

We are beyond grateful for the more than two decades that he lead our church. May his legacy live on!

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Wheatland, Wyoming on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. A viewing will be held at 10:00 A.M. at the church and burial will be at the Wheatland Cemetery following the service.

Thank you to EVERYONE who came out for our annual Pig Roast Potluck!!! It was a beautiful time of gathering together in the midst of a challenging time. Thank you to the Woods family for opening your home and cooking the pig yet again! We are so grateful for this community.
