First Presbyterian Church of LeRoy Our morning worship service time is 10:00 am every Sunday. The children join us in worship and are then excused for Sunday School after the children's sermon.

Communion is held the first Sunday of each month. Our Sunday school is held every Sunday morning for children from nursery to high school. Coffee and Fellowship Hour follows every Sunday service in adjoining Olmsted Hall. Our church was established in Western New York in 1812, first as a Congregatinal group, then as the Presbyterian Society. After meeting in homes, schoolhouses, and sometimes barn

s, the church building was begun ten years later, completed in 1825, and dedicated in 1826. We have a rich history that extends through 19 ministries over 200 years. The membership today is about 250. We are guided by Reverend David Pepper, who came to us in November of 2003. We look forward to the next 200 years and as we work to serve the Kingdom of God and be a blessing to those around us.

OK, this one is especially for the guys out there - what has become of your beloved man cave? It started as your own peaceful retreat to work on hobbies and projects... but now look at it - it's so cluttered, you can't find anything and it's anything but tranquil. What to do?

Our Thrift Shop could be the answer! Gather up your extras, duplicates, and "no longer needed's" and bring them to the church M, W, TH between 9 - noon. Tools, planters, gardening supplies and more - let us help you reclaim your basement, garage or shed! We appreciate your donations!!

Attention: LCHS Seniors and current college undergrads!

2026 Olmsted Scholarship applications are now available in your guidance office, or by emailing the church at [email protected]

We will award one $1,500 and one $1,000 scholarships, each to a community service minded senior or undergrad planning to pursue secondary education after graduation.

The applications detail all of the criteria and requirements. Applications are due by noon on Wednesday, June 10th. Don't delay - time flies!

Please note that there are no scheduled office hours this week (May 11th - 17th). Normal offices return beginning Monday the 18th, at which time we'll resume accepting donations for the Thrift Shop (M, W, Th 9 - noon).

The Thrift Shop is now open each Tuesday from 10:00 - noon, and every Saturday 9:00 - noon.

That garage sale you're planning... in the back of your mind, maybe you're dreading it. Sooo much work - organizing, pricing, setting up & taking down, not to mention all the time it takes. And losing your weekend sitting in a chair on your hot driveway hoping for customers? Ugh!

Save yourself the time & trouble by donating your excess household items to our Thrift Shop! You'll feel good about supporting our ministries and the LeRoy community we serve!

Donations can be brought to the church's Clay St. entrance on Mon, Wed, & Thur from 9am - noon. Please, no clothing, electronics, books, or large furniture items.
