For all St. Patrick and Diocese of Winona-Rochester parishioners.
You are invited to experience a Eucharistic Revival to strengthen our understanding of the Real Presence by participating in This is my Body: Diocesan Eucharistic Congress on June 10, 2023 at the Mankato Civic Center in Mankato, MN. This will also serve to kick off our St. Patrick Parish Eucharistic Revival year which will begin July 1, 2023.
What is a Eucharistic Congress? Historically, it is a call to convene God’s people far and wide to rejoice in the Eucharistic Lord. There we learn, we make friends, we rejoice and we worship together. This will be an occasion of grace and revival; and who doesn’t need that?
Why is the Diocese of Winona-Rochester having a Congress? Our bishop, Robert Barron, called for a Eucharistic Congress as one of his first acts as bishop of our diocese. As he has said, we are at a point in our history where we should be humble and welcome the graces of the Holy Spirit that has flown through Eucharistic Congresses throughout our nation’s history. We need renewal after an extraordinarily difficult few years, and he expects this Congress to launch a new age of mission in our diocese.
What does this have to do with you? Each and every one of you are invited to represent our parish and join thousands of our fellow Catholics in a day dedicated to education, inspiration and joy in the Eucharistic Lord. Bishop Barron will open the day and we will have national speakers telling their own stories and teaching us. We will have musicians and we will pack 10,000 emergency food kits for those in need. We will have children’s activities available. Then we will conclude the Congress with a Diocesan Mass for the Solemnity of Corpus Christi and a Eucharistic Procession throughout downtown Mankato.
What do I do next? Go to www.eucharist.dowr.org to learn more and register. Register before March 31 for an early registration discount just for our diocese. After March 31, the Congress will open up to people outside of our diocese. If you are unable to register online, or unable to pay, please contact Loren Rickerl or Jodi Miller. Also, if there is enough demand, we will arrange transportation. Please sign up on the sign-up sheet at the back of the church, or contact Loren or Jodi directly.

Our apologies. Due to unanticipated requirements, we are not yet able to reopen St. Patrick's Parish. I know this is disappointing to many, but please bear with us as we work through the process of reopening. Thanks for your understanding.

St Patrick Families

It is with great sadness and out of an abundance of caution that Bishop Quinn has cancelled all public Masses in the Diocese until May 15, 2020. If it's looking like the virus has passed before this date, this restriction may get lifted.

With this being said, there will be no more Masses, Adoration, Faith Formation, Easter Services, First Holy Communion or Confirmation. There will be more information to come regarding the rescheduling of First Holy Communion and Confirmation sacramental services.

KAAL channel 6 broadcasts the Holy Mass at 9am on Sundays

If you have any questions or concerns you may contact Elaine Mills or Father Marreddy at 507-951-7985.

Stay safe and healthy
