Machpelah Cemetery on North Street in Le Roy, NY, has an active cemetery association today. Many plots and cremains niches are available. It is on the National Historic Register of Historic Places. Machpelah Cemetery was first used as a burial ground in 1854. In 1868 it was organized as a rural cemetery, and finally in 1873 it was incorporated under a special act of the State Legislature of New York State.
