This morning we remember together the death of Jesus for our sins through celebration of the Lord's supper.

Our worship team leads our musical worship thru "There Is Power In The Blood", "Are You Washed In The Blood", "At Calvary", "Trust In God", "Great Are You Lord" and closes with "Grace Flows Down".

Pastor John Jemar begins a study from the gospel of John chapter 14.

Sermon-in-a-sentence:
In John 14:1, Jesus calls for trusting the Father and trusting Him, because faith in Christ brings present peace, lasting hope, and a new way to live.

First Point: Jesus speaks peace to anxious hearts
“Do not let your heart be troubled” (John 14:1a)

Reflection moment: What has been troubling your heart lately, and have you been carrying it alone instead of bringing it honestly to Jesus?

Four Actions For Transformation: let’s grow together into change
1. Name the trouble honestly before the Lord in prayer instead of masking it with busyness or silence
2. Slow down your inner life by replacing anxious mental loops with a specific promise of God read and repeated daily
3. Refuse fear-driven speech; before speaking, ask “Will these words spread panic or point someone to God’s faithfulness?”
4. Share one burden with a trusted believer this week so anxiety loses secrecy and faith is strengthened in community

Second Point: Jesus anchors peace in personal trust
“Believe in God, believe also in Me” (John 14:1b)

Reflection moment: Where have you been leaning for security lately (control, reputation, money, approval), or Christ?

Four Actions For Transformation: let’s grow together into change
1. Begin each morning this week with a simple confession of trust: “Lord Jesus, today I place my heart, plans, and fears in Your hands”
2. When anxiety rises, turn it into a prayer before it becomes a panic, using Philippians 4:6-7 as a practical pattern
3. Make one decision this week based on obedience rather than fear, whether in generosity, honesty, forgiveness, or witness
4. Speak hope into someone else’s trouble by reminding them who Jesus is, not just telling them to “calm down”

Will you entrust your heart to Jesus today and begin living from faith instead of fear?

Pastor John Jemar concludes the study from the gospel of John chapter 13.

Sermon-in-a-sentence:
In John 13:36-38, Jesus teaches us that we do not stand by self-confidence but by humble dependence on Him.

First Point: “You Will Follow Later” (John 13:36-37)
Sometimes love says “not yet,” because Jesus cares more about forming our faith than satisfying our timing

Big Idea: Jesus knows when you are ready, so trust His timing & keep following faithfully today

Second Point: Big Pledge & Compromise (John 13:38)
Big promises made in self-confidence often collapse under pressure, but Jesus meets our weakness with truth and grace

Big Idea: Don’t trust your promises more than you trust Christ’s grace; humble dependence is stronger than bold self-confidence

Belief that becomes Action: Impact & Application to our lives
Don’t just promise Jesus your strength; practice depending on His grace every day.

Five Daily Actions For Transformation:
1. Trust Jesus with the timing = When life feels delayed, remember that “not yet” is not “never.” Let waiting deepen your faith instead of feeding frustration
2. Watch your weak spots = Identify where you are most tempted to overestimate yourself, whether in speech, anger, purity, pride, or fear, and invite God’s help there
3. Stay close after failure = If you stumble, run back to Jesus quickly in confession & faith. Failure is not the end when grace leads you home
4. Practice faithful love at home = Keep your promises to your spouse and family through small daily acts of patience, truthfulness, servant-hearted care. Big faithfulness is built through little obediences
5. Encourage others gently = When someone around you struggles, do not shame them. Speak truth with grace, remembering how Jesus handled Peter

Are you ready to let Jesus humble you, restore you, teach you to follow Him by grace?

Today is May 24 ... 05/24 ... which beautifully corresponds with our old memory verse: John 5:24. Do you remember it?

This verse highlights the transforming power of hearing and believing Jesus. Scripture memory isn’t just a spiritual discipline, it’s vital for our walk with Christ, for growing as His disciples, for spiritual maturity, and for standing strong in times of spiritual battle.

Let’s continue to treasure God’s Word, review it often, & let it shape our hearts and minds.

Belief that becomes ACTION = KNOW IT. LOVE IT. LIVE IT!

Sermon-in-a-sentence: In John 13:33-35, Jesus prepares His disciples for His departure by calling them to a new kind of love, so that the world will recognize His presence in them.

Impact question: Is it obvious that you belong to Jesus, or is Jesus calling you to start obeying the new commandment today?

James 1:22 says, "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves."

This morning, Pastor John Jemar continues to the study from the gospel of John chapter 13.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John13+%3A31-38&version=NASB1995

Sermon-in-a-sentence:
In John 13:33-35, Jesus prepares His disciples for His departure by calling them to a new kind of love, so that the world will recognize His presence in them.

Point 1: Where Jesus Goes Alone (John 13:33)
When you can’t go where Jesus goes, you must hold tighter to what Jesus says because His absence is not abandonment; it’s preparation.

Big Idea:
Jesus goes where only Jesus can go, so we can stop striving to be strong enough & start trusting that Jesus is Savior enough

Point 2: Loving One Another (John 13:34-35)
The world may ignore our arguments, but it can’t ignore our love because love makes Jesus visible.

Big Idea:
The clearest proof that Jesus is real in us is not how much we know, but how well we love … divine love like Jesus.

Belief that becomes Action: How to live “Love like Jesus”
If Jesus loved you when you didn’t deserve it, then the Spirit can empower you to love others when they don’t deserve it, starting with the people closest to you.

6 Actions For Transformational Living =
1. Start with God = Begin the day with one simple prayer: “Jesus, love through me today.” Ask for help before you need it
2. Let Jesus wash your feet = Confess quickly, receive grace fully, don’t carry yesterday’s guilt into today’s relationships (1 John 1:9)
3. Love first at home = Choose one “towel-and-basin” action daily, serve in a practical way without announcing it
(a chore, a note, a kind word, a listening ear)
4. Use love in your words = Before you speak, ask: “Will this sound like Jesus?” Replace sarcasm with encouragement; replace harshness with truth spoken gently (Ephesians 4:29)
5. Forgive faster = Refuse scorekeeping. Take one relationship where resentment is growing & initiate peace … apologize for your part, extend forgiveness, start rebuilding trust wisely
6. Make love your witness = This week, show visible love to a believer who isn’t “your type” (welcome, include, pray, help). Let the watching world see a different kind of community

Is it obvious that you belong to Jesus, or is Jesus calling you to start obeying the new commandment today?

Belief that becomes ACTION = KNOW IT. LOVE IT. LIVE IT!

Sermon-in-a-sentence: In John 13:31-32, Jesus reveals that God’s glory is most clearly seen through surrender, sacrifice, and obedience even in life’s darkest moments.

Impact question: Will you surrender your life today so that God’s glory can be seen through you … starting right where you are?

This morning, Pastor John Jemar continues to the study from the gospel of John chapter 13.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John13+%3A21-30&version=NASB1995

Sermon-in-a-Sentence:
In John 13:31-32, Jesus reveals that God’s glory is most clearly seen through surrender, sacrifice, and obedience even in life’s darkest moments.

The Glory of God Revealed in Jesus (John 13:31-32) = God’s glory is revealed through Jesus in the hardest moment.
G.L.O.R.Y. = A Unified Picture of God’s Glory in Christ
G = God’s character is revealed
L = Love is displayed through sacrifice
O = Obedience aligns with God’s will
R = Redemption is accomplished through the Cross
Y = Yielding to God reveals glory in us

Just as Jesus surrendered, we are called to yield our lives. God’s glory is now reflected through His people.
God’s glory is not just something we see, but it’s something we live
G.od’s character
L.ove through sacrifice
O.bedience aligns with God
R.edemption through the Cross
Y.ielding reveals glory

Big Question:
Since God’s glory is revealed through surrender, sacrifice, and obedience in Jesus… what does that look like in our everyday lives?

Belief That Becomes Action: Living Out G.L.O.R.Y. Daily
Don’t just see God’s glory but live it! If God’s glory is revealed through surrender, sacrifice, and obedience in Jesus, then our daily lives should reflect that same pattern

G.L.O.R.Y. = 5 Daily Actions for Transformation
G = Give your day to God (Surrender Daily)
L = Look for God in hard moments (Reframe Perspective)
O = Obey in the small things (Do the Next Right Thing)
R = Reflect Christ at home (Serve Sacrificially)
Y = Your words & witness point to Jesus (Speak & Live with Purpose)

Will you surrender your life today so that God’s glory can be seen through you … starting right where you are?
