Just because we step into fatherhood doesn’t mean we step out of sonship.

The best dads aren’t the ones who have it all figured out. They’re the ones who stay dependent on God.

The weight of leading a family was never meant to be carried alone. Greater responsibility should lead us to deeper dependence on Him.

“Apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5

What a great Sunday at CLC!

We loved celebrating all of the dads and father figures in the room today. From worship and fellowship to family photos, gifts, and a powerful reminder of God’s love, it was a special day together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We don’t take for granted the opportunity to gather each week, grow in our faith, and do life together.

We pray every father felt encouraged, appreciated, and reminded of how valuable they are to their families and to the Kingdom of God.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at CLC!

My favorite part of Father’s Day isn’t the gifts. It’s the cards.
My kids are still too young to write their own thoughts, so my wife helps put words on the page for them. She sees things they can’t quite express yet and says things they don’t yet have the words to say.
That got me thinking…
What if the people who love us most could write us a letter? What if our children, our family, or the people we influence every day could tell us what they really need from us?
So This Father’s Day, we’re exploring a message called “Dear Dad”
Whether Father’s Day is a celebration, a struggle, or somewhere in between for you, we’d love for you to join us this Sunday.
See you Sunday.

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.

As followers of Jesus, we believe every person is created in the image of God and carries inherent value, dignity, and worth.

Today we give thanks for freedom, remember the lessons of history, and continue striving to love our neighbors well.

Join us this Saturday, June 20, for Love My City!
Love My City is a great opportunity to serve our community and help provide food and resources to local families. Volunteer check-in begins at 8:30 AM, and food distribution will take place from 10:30–11:30 AM (while supplies last).
Whether you’re helping serve, greet, pray, or distribute food, there’s a place for you. We would love to have you join us as we make a difference in our city together.

Sometimes your obedience doesn’t lead immediately to comfort. Sometimes it leads to dependence.
Sometimes is leads us to discover that God is enough, because if we always have enough, we may never
learn to trust the One who is enough.

This is just one of the many stories that came out of Youth Camp this year.

Lives were changed, hearts were surrendered, and students encountered the power and presence of God in a real way.

Thank you, church, for praying, giving, serving, and helping send these students to camp. Your investment is making an eternal impact, and we’re believing this is only the beginning of what God wants to do in this next generation.

As we continue our THIRST series, we're looking at a struggle that every believer faces at some point, a thirst for a miracle.
In Exodus 17, the Israelites found themselves in a dry and desperate place. God had delivered them before, yet when they faced a new challenge, they began to question whether He was still with them. It's easy to read their story and wonder how they could forget God's faithfulness so quickly, but if we're honest, we've all been there.
When prayers seem unanswered, when provision feels delayed, and when we're stuck in the space between God's promises and God's timing, it's easy to become discouraged. Yet this passage reminds us that God is often doing His deepest work in those very moments.
Join us this Sunday for Part 3 of THIRST, "A Thirst for a Miracle," as we discover that sometimes the greatest miracle isn't simply what God provides, but what He teaches us about His presence while we wait.
