The St. Come and visit!

Anne Chapel, crafted in the mountains of southern Poland in 2003, and reassembled in a Michigan property, features the traditional style of architecture that has been employed in that region since the Middle Ages.

It was a gorgeous autumn afternoon for the closing First Saturday Mass of the 2026 season at the chapel!

The Bells of St Anne rang out through the beautiful blue sky and crisp autumn air, announcing the special High Mass (Missa Cantata) to close out the season.

The chapel filled with the faithful, and the ancient, beautiful Gregorian Chant began with the Introit.

Well, it is hard to believe, but this Saturday, Oct 3, is the final First Saturday Low Mass of the 2026 season at the chapel.

Mass begins at 5 pm with outdoor confessions prior to Mass.

The good news! The forecast at Mass time is for sunny skies, a temperature of 65, and a light breeze. It should be a beautiful autumn afternoon in southwest Michigan!

Our final First Saturday Low Mass of the 2026 season is Oct 3 at 5 pm.

As we remember Our Lady in a special way on Saturdays (today is a special Ember Saturday), we take a look back at September's First Saturday Low Mass with the recessional...

As the busy summertime activity subsides, we're looking back to the St Anne Triduum as we continue the albums from the beautiful outdoor High Mass, followed by the St Anne Triduum Prayers and veneration of the relic of St Anne at the altar rail.

After the veneration, the altar boys returned to the sanctuary to help with the after-Mass duties, as the faithful gathered at the pavilion and pond for food, fun, and fellowship.

"Good St. Anne, support of the Church, pray for us."

Did you know?...

Today, the first Sunday in September, is the secondary feast day of Our Lady of Ludźmierz. (Her primary feast day, featuring beautiful Masses and all-day and all-night celebrations, is August 15).

St. Anne Chapel was gifted a beautiful processional statue of Our Lady of Ludźmierz by the Górale (Highlanders from Poland) who built the chapel for the Canons. She always stands just inside the altar rail at the chapel.

Today's feast day celebration at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Ludźmierz in Ludźmierz, Poland, centers around a grand Thanksgiving Holy Mass (Msza święta dziękczynna) at the outdoor altar in the sanctuary's stunning Rosary Garden. It includes regional delegations from the surrounding mountain areas dressed in immaculate, colorful highlander attire. They process into the sanctuary carrying massive, intricate harvest wreaths (wieńce żniwne) woven from wheat, grain, and flowers to be blessed in gratitude for the year's agricultural bounty.

The day's celebration continues with folk performances, traditional dance, and delicious Górale culinary delights.

St. John Paul II loved Our Lady of Ludźmierz dearly. Many say she predicted and is the reason for his rise to the Chair of Peter.
