St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Lawton

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Lawton We welcome and respect all who seek Christ. We comfort those who are in need. We are inspired by God and believe all things are possible with His help. St.

Andrew’s Episcopal Church is a caring, concerned congregation of believers in Jesus Christ. We are receptive, responsible, and warm to all His people, both members and newcomers alike. Our vision is to be true disciples of Christ through outreach, Christian education and pastoral care; and to be receptive and responsive to new ideas and issues while remaining faithful to Christ’s teaching and the

direction of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America and the Anglican Communion. As a reminder, engagement on our page is welcomed and encouraged. However, any communication or behavior deemed harmful, disrespectful or not in line with the Christian values of “respecting the dignity of every human being” found in our baptismal covenant, will not be tolerated and will be removed. Thank you for continuing to engage with us respectfully in this ministry tool.

This Sunday we're inviting a special guest through our red doors, the Holy Spirit!

While Christmas and Easter are more widely known, Pentecost is also a principal feast, one that asks the question after Jesus' ascension: What comes next?! Pentecost continues the story in a dramatic fashion, as the Holy Spirit comes down to the church in flames, inviting us to walk with God throughout our whole lives.

Join in the drama of one of the most important services of the year by wearing red, this Sunday at 8 and 10:15am!

Last weekend was the OKARNG Chaplain Corps annual sustainment training, which included training with the Chinook and Blackhawk elements through OKARNG Aviation. Rev. Stephanie joined with Hindu Chaplain Candidate C.H. Bhavick (first picture), Methodist Chaplain Michaela Smith (second photo left), and lay troops in executing field services and training on casualty notifications, memorial ceremonies, and memorial services. Check out a really cool view from above in the last photo!
