"Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." -- Jesus in John 20:21

✝️After the resurrection, Jesus offered more than comfort—Jesus gave purpose. Jesus sent followers into the world empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry love, peace and hope. ♥️

As Easter people, we’re still being sent—to serve, to reconcile, to heal, and to share the good news of new life.

đź’¬ Where is Christ sending you this week?

“You have been born anew into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” —1 Peter 1:3b (CEB)

This Easter, we rejoice in the promise of new beginnings and the living hope we have in Christ. May the joy of Jesus’ resurrection fill your heart and home with peace and renewal.

📖 “And do not keep seeking what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying. For it is the nations of the world that seek all these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” — Luke 12:29-31

During Lent, we often let go of distractions and focus on what truly matters. Jesus reminds us not to be consumed by worry, but to trust in God’s provision.

As we simplify, fast, or reflect, may we find peace in the promise that when we seek God first, everything else falls into place.

💬 What helps you trust in God’s provision?

Lent calls our attention back to God's action in and around our lives.

Georgia Harkness summed up what we prepare for through this special season and what we ultimately celebrate at Easter.

Georgia Harkness is considered one of the first widely recognized American women theologians and she helped advance the cause of ordaining women in the American Methodist church. Her books, including "Understanding the Christian Faith" and "What Christians Believe", are often utilized in both academic educational settings and Sunday school classes.

✝️A blessing for Lent:
May this season of Lent be a time of inward reflection that makes us more able to look at the needs of the world with compassion. Amen.đź’—

🙌Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!🎼

Lent is a season for reorienting our mindsets towards holiness. But holiness can be difficult to define. Hymns often helps us understand theological ideas and terms, and this well-known hymn ( #64 in the United Methodist Hymnal) helps paint a word picture of holiness. A picture that contains both humility and awesomeness as well as mercy and love. đź’ś

đź’¬How have you been witnessing holiness so far this Lent?
