What a wonderful day of fellowship at Wesley Chapel UMC!

We had such a great time together at our Potluck, Praise & Bingo Fellowship!
There was plenty of delicious food, joyful singing, lots of laughter, and of course, some friendly competition during Bingo!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who brought food, helped prepare and clean up, participated in praise, and simply came to enjoy this special time together.
Your love and willingness to serve made the day even more meaningful.

We are also grateful for the opportunity to invite our friends from Lawton First UMC to join us for this special fellowship. A heartfelt thank you to all of our First Church members who came and shared this wonderful time with us. Your presence made our fellowship even more joyful and meaningful, and we are thankful for the friendship and connection between our church families.

This is what church family is all about—sharing a meal, worshiping God, laughing together, caring for one another, and building relationships across generations.

May Wesley Chapel continue to be a church filled with faith, love, joy, and fellowship, and a place where our children, families, friends, and neighbors always feel welcome and loved.

Thank you, Wesley Chapel family, for making today such a joyful and memorable time together! God is good! ❤️

Mrs. Paula Hood has a wonderful tradition of celebrating her birthday by hosting a swim party for the children of our church. We are so grateful for her generous hospitality and for the love she always shares with our kids. They had such a great time swimming, laughing, and enjoying the evening together. Thank you, Paula, for making your special day a special day for our children, too! Happy early Birthday! 🎂 ❤️

Backyard Service on July 12th, 2026.
This morning at 8:30, Wesley Chapel gathered at Royce and Suzie’s home for a very special backyard worship service. Even under cloudy skies and gentle rain, it was a beautiful service filled with love, grace, and the presence of God.

A special thank-you to Randy and Tracy, who came early and prepared everything so carefully. They brought many supplies from the church, arranged the worship space, and even set up a shelter in case of rain. Their love, hard work, and thoughtful preparation made today’s service possible.

We are also grateful to Royce, who was waiting early to welcome everyone. Even though he is going through chemotherapy and has been feeling weak, he stood in the yard, greeted our church family, and helped guide everyone with parking. His warm welcome touched all of us.

Just as the service was beginning, the rain started to fall. But even in the rain, many members of our church family came with hearts full of love for Royce and Suzie Littrell. Thank you to everyone who showed up, worshiped together, prayed together, and shared Holy Communion together.

Today reminded us of an important truth: the church is not a building—the church is the people of God.

When someone cannot come to the church, the church goes to them. When someone is hurting, we gather around them. When someone feels weak, we carry one another with prayer, presence, and love.

My prayer is that Wesley Chapel will continue to grow as a loving community—a church that notices those who are missing, reaches out to those who are hurting, and carries the love of Christ beyond the walls of our building.

Today, the church showed up.
Today, love showed up.
And even in the rain, God’s grace was all around us.

Thanks be to God for this beautiful morning of worship and love.

Today we celebrate and honor Parry Jones for an incredible milestone - his retirement after 20 years of faithful military service. On May 30th, Parry held his retirement ceremony at Fort Sill, marking the completion of two decades of sacrifice, dedication, leadership, and service to our nation.

Throughout his military career, Parry continued working hard to complete his college education, showing remarkable perseverance and commitment to growth even during the demands of military life. We are also proud to celebrate his achievement of earning his bachelor’s degree - a wonderful accomplishment that reflects his determination and discipline.

Parry and his family have also faithfully served Wesley Chapel with generous hearts, kindness, and dedication. Their love for the church family and willingness to serve others have been a true blessing to our community.

Parry, thank you for your service, your leadership, your example, and your faithfulness. We pray that this new season of retirement will be filled with peace, joy, good health, meaningful time with family, and exciting new opportunities ahead.

Congratulations on both your retirement and your graduation! Wesley Chapel celebrates with you and your family today. ❤️

Today’s Potluck & Praise at Wesley Chapel was such a joyful and meaningful time together! Even in the hot Oklahoma weather, the day was filled with laughter, fellowship, worship, and love because of everyone’s dedication, servant hearts, and willingness to help.

We shared wonderful food, joyful praise songs, and a special performance by our Youth Band that made the day even more beautiful. It was so encouraging to see different generations worshipping and spending time together as one church family.

Today was also especially meaningful as we celebrated Parry’s 20 years of military service and retirement. We were honored to have so many family members join us for this special occasion, including Parry’s twin sister’s family, The Cross family, and Christina’s parents. Their presence made the celebration even more memorable and meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who cooked, served, cleaned, sang, played music, and simply showed up with joyful hearts. Days like today remind us how blessed we are to be part of the Wesley Chapel family.
To God be all the glory! ❤️

Today, our Fish Fry event came to a beautiful close. We were truly blessed to see so many people come out so many that we ran out of seats early on! Because of the great turnout, we even had to begin earlier than planned. Although we prepared a large amount of food, it was quickly enjoyed, and unfortunately, some who arrived later were not able to receive everything we hoped to offer.

Even so, this event became another meaningful moment of gathering and connection for Wesley Chapel. It was a joy to see our church filled with families, neighbors, and children, all sharing in fellowship and community.

We give our heartfelt thanks to all who worked so hard to prepare and serve, and to everyone who came and supported this event. Because of you, Wesley Chapel continues to grow as a loving and welcoming church.

I am truly grateful and happy to be part of building this church together with you. May God continue to bless our community abundantly.
