The new playground and splash pad at Greer Park is Tuesday Out approved! We had so much fun climbing, spinning, sliding, splashing, and playing with our friends. We also enjoyed a picnic under the pavilion and had a couple of water balloon toss contests.

So many people commented on how kind our kids were and how they help and watch out for each other. They are so great to be around. We love spending our summers together!

Next week, we will be swimming at Sumi and Mac McCargo’s and you will not want to miss it!

One last VBS post!

Thanks again for a wonderful week of sharing God with the children and families who joined us for VBS. The kids in attendance were so kind and well-mannered, and our adult and teen volunteers were amazing as always!

We had 176 different kids in attendance over the four days, and over 100 volunteers generously gave their time and talents! What a blessing!

Thanks to you, we got to share that God is our Creator, He is our Safe Space, He is Love, and He is Forever!!!

Thanks so much for your generous donations at our VBS Coin Drive! You donated 36.4 lbs of coins and bills. The results are in, and you raised $614.13 that will go towards backpacks and school supplies for Edison Elementary School!

On Night 3, we learned that God is love and that Jesus loved us so much that He died on the cross for our sins. That’s a lot of love!

We were blessed with 119 kids and had 20 adults stay for class. What a great night!

We’ll do it one more time tomorrow!

Yay for night 2 of VBS!

We started out with a delicious meal and then 117 kids got to learn that God is our safe place. Thanks so much for bringing them so we can share the Good News with them!

We also had a great crowd at our adult class.

Night one of VBS was amazing! I’m so thankful for everyone who had any part of it.

Thanks to parents and grandparents for bringing your kids! We love having the opportunity to share our awesome God with your children.

We have the BEST VBS team at Western Hills. Thanks to those who fed us, taught us, played with us, crafted with us, sang with us, directed us to the right places, and kept us safe. We have so many great volunteers!

There was also a wonderful turn out for the adult Bible class and I heard it was a great lesson! Come back tonight from 6:30-7:30 for another adult class.

Let’s do this again tonight! VBS starts at 6 and we offer a free meal from 5:15-5:45.

We also have a class for adults from 6:30-7:30 in the auditorium.
