Gwinnett Christian Life Assembly of God is a local fellowship of Jesus followers dedicated to fulfilling Christ’s commission to make disciples and to help those disciples discover and become all God designed and destined them to be, irrespective of race, color, age, creed, ethnicity, or socio-economic status. It is a body of believers called and committed to LIVE GOD’S LOVE everywhere we go, to everyone we meet, every chance we get. It is a union of individuals and families from widely diverse backgrounds from the four corners of the globe determined to embrace that diversity and model the unconditional love and amazing grace of God embodied in Jesus Christ, and to share and spread that love in our community and around the world.
Every person needs a Biblical moral compass to guide and protect him or her throughout life
Every believer has unique gifts to be discovered, developed, and used to strengthen the church
Every believer has a purpose in advancing the global mission of Christ and the Church.
Bible - Word of God
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, given by divine revelation of God to man, providing the rule of faith and conduct superior to conscience and reason.
One True GOD
We believe in the One True God of the Bible Who has revealed Himself as eternally Self-existent, Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:
His virgin birth
His sinless life
His miracles
His substitutionary work on the cross
His bodily resurrection from the dead
His exaltation to the right hand of God
Man′s Fall and Redemption
We believe in man’s fall and redemption. We believe man was created good and upright by God, but by voluntary transgression, fell and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. Man’s only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ
Salvation of Man
We believe in the Salvation of Man. Salvation is the free gift of God provided solely by His grace and not by works. It is available to all who repent of sin, confess Him as Lord and Savior, and accept His love and work of grace.
Water Baptism and Holy Communion
We believe in the ordinances of the church of water baptism and Holy Communion.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct and subsequent event following salvation that provides divine power for living and completing the work of ministry.
Speaking in other Tongues
We believe in the initial physical evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the sign of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives the utterance, that it is intended for all believers.
Sanctification
We believe in sanctification, which is the separation from evil and dedication to God. We believe it is both an immediate and ongoing work of the Holy Spirit as we cooperate with Him and follow Christ in faith and practice.
Body of Christ
We believe in the church and its mission to be the Body of Christ, knitted and fitted together to partner together in worship, in witness, and in work “until we all reach the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
Ministry of the Church
We believe in the ministry of the church as embodied in this fourfold purpose:
To be a witness of Jesus, His love, and His saving grace
To be a corporate center in which man may worship God together
To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of Christ
To be a conduit of Christ’s love to meet human need with love and compassion
Divine Healing
We believe in divine healing provided for all believers through the work of Christ on the cross.
Rapture of the Church
We believe in the Blessed Hope, the Rapture of the Church.
Millennial Reign of Christ
We believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.
Final Judgment
We believe in the Final Judgment for all those who ultimately reject Christ and His saving grace. Those who reject Christ will be judged for their sin and face eternal separation from God in a punishing lake of fire.
New Heaven and New Earth
We believe in a New Heaven and New Earth. We look forward and await the day following His millennial reign when He establishes this perfect New Heaven and New Earth which He has prepared for all people of all time who have accepted Him and His free gift of grace. “And so shall we ever be with the Lord
