✨ The birth of Jesus brings us love. ✨

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son — John 3:16

Jesus is the best gift we will ever receive. He is God’s Son, the King of kings, and the Savior of the world. He loves us more than we can imagine. We know God loves us because He sent us the greatest gift of all, His Son, Jesus. When our hearts are filled with His love, we can love others and tell them the good news about Jesus.

As we light the fourth Advent candle, the candle of Love, we can frame our conversations with our children around God’s faithful love.

The birth of Jesus reminds us that God is a promise-keeping God. God promised His people a Savior, and He kept that promise by sending His one and only Son, Jesus.

✨ The birth of Jesus brings us joy. ✨

Joy is different than being happy. We’re happy when we get what we want, like opening a present. But happiness can fade when things don’t go our way.

Joy is different. We can have joy even when we don’t get what we want. Joy is a deep feeling we carry in our hearts when we remember how much God loves us.

God loves us so much that He kept His promise and gave us Jesus. That truth gives us a strong, steady joy deep inside — a joy that lasts.

This week, as we light the third Advent candle, the candle of Joy, this is a beautiful way to frame the conversation with our children. We can help them see that true joy isn’t about getting what we want, but about remembering God’s great love and His promise kept in Jesus.

Join Us in Making an Impact This Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, we thank God for His provision and for partners like you. Your support, along with a generous grant, helped launch Teach Us to Worship and begin creating resources that are already forming lifelong worshipers.

Your generosity has made it possible to develop key resources such as:
Exploring the Elements of WorshipA children’s curriculum that reinforces what they experience in worship by teaching them about each element.
Entering His PresenceA tool designed to help church families and congregations prepare their hearts for worship.
Worship SignsVisual signs of each element of worship that help children (and adults) engage with understanding, participation, and joy.

As we look toward 2026, your support will help us equip churches and leaders as they foster intergenerational worship:
Grow Partner Churches: Resource and train 10 church plants and/or churches under 100 membersNew Resources: Produce high-quality training videos for parents, pastors, worship leaders, and congregantsExpand Accessibility: Provide Spanish translations of curriculum and create nursery curriculum

Would you consider giving today to help churches continue this vital ministry to the next generation?

Worship is not just for one age. It’s for every generation. When we gather in awe of God’s creation, we pass on wonder. When we sing and pray together, we pass on faith. When we share the beauty of fall, we point to the Creator who made it.

This season, let’s worship together and remind one another:One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. — Psalm 145:4

Children make meaning with their whole bodies. They see brilliant colors, taste the flavors of fall, smell cinnamon and spice, and feel the cool curve of a pumpkin.

Each sense opens a door to God’s story of beauty and abundance. This is worship with eyes, ears, hands, and hearts.

How can we use these experiences to help the next generation know God?

Fall was made for wonder.
Children are natural worshipers. They marvel at red and gold leaves drifting down. They stomp and crunch through piles. They watch the wind scatter beauty all around.

Every leaf is a reminder: God made seasons, and He made us to notice them.

What part of fall fills you with wonder?
