Donate this Giving Season @ Send56.org � SEND56 establishes “House of Prayer Missions Bases” in strategic African nations, raising up and sending out an army of native missionaries to the unreached people groups in Africa. Our purpose is to send a multitude of evangelists and church planters into the tribes of sub-Saharan and North Africa where there is little or no christian gospel witness. Our

prayer is for the Lord of the harvest to raise up 10,000 African laborers to help finish the Great Commission in this generation.

Though the team has only been in the village for three months, meaningful relationships are already forming quickly. Unlike some closed communities, the people here are very open to outsiders. Whether greeting farmers in their fields, helping with the harvest, or talking with people at the market through the shared language, friendships are growing naturally.

God has already provided a strong foundation for the team’s work. Through relationships with local leaders and partnership with ECWA (Evangelical Church Winning All) church, the team now has a place to live, pray, and minister within the village as they labor to see an indigenous church established.

Stand with us in prayer as we pray to the God who holds the hearts of kings in His hand. Please join us in asking that He would soften the hearts of the rulers in every single one of the 59 villages in this particular area. We pray that each king would be uniquely open to welcoming missionaries and that they would grant us the favor to preach the gospel freely within their domains.

A testimony that continues to give!
Years before the team arrived in this region, the king of the village once found himself stranded in the city with nowhere to stay. As night fell, a Christian stranger welcomed the king and those traveling with him into his home, offering them a warm meal and a place to sleep. That simple act of generosity left a permanent mark on his heart.

Even today, whenever the king speaks about Christians, he remembers that moment of kindness shown to him by a stranger. In many ways, that experience shaped the hospitality he now shows toward our team. He often says he has never forgotten the kindness of the Church.

Deep within the rugged landscape of Nigeria’s plateau region lies a community whose daily life is closely tied to farming and deeply rooted in Islamic tradition. Nearly the entire population identifies as Muslim, with local mosques sitting at the very center of village life under the spiritual leadership of traditional chiefs and a regional Emir.

Living in this remote area is far from easy. The daily, practical challenges these families face are often as steep and rugged as the terrain they call home. Because they have virtually no access to the gospel, they are a primary focus of our prayers and ministry hearts.

Every team we support takes time to truly learn and understand the people they are reaching. Sharing the gospel effectively starts with listening, learning, and building trust.
One team is using an approach they call “bridging”—starting with stories and biblical figures already familiar within the Qur’an. From there, they carefully and faithfully build a pathway from what is known to what is true, without compromising the gospel or introducing syncretism.

It’s thoughtful, intentional ministry rooted in relationship and wisdom.

Not everyone is called to go to the field—but every one of us can pray.

Prayer matters deeply. It strengthens believers, encourages the weary, and reminds our brothers and sisters around the world that they are not alone.

Today, we ask you to pray for the needs within the underground church, especially for widows and families with children. Pray that God would provide opportunities for sustainable work so they can care for their families with dignity and hope.

Never underestimate the power of being a prayer warrior. God moves through the faithful prayers of His people.

What an incredible testimony of what God is doing through His people.
The underground church continues to grow in both numbers and wisdom, and we love hearing how believers are learning to simply “live the light” in their everyday lives. As their character changes, natural opportunities for gospel conversations are opening up all around them.

Stories like these remind us that God is still moving powerfully, even in difficult places.
