Holy God, As a new school year begins, we pause to offer a blessing for all who are beginning another year of learning, teaching, growing, and discovering.

Loving God, Bless our children and students as they begin a new school year. Give them curious minds, open hearts, courage for the challenges ahead, and joy in the moments that make learning meaningful. Surround them with good friends, caring teachers, and people who remind them that they are valued and loved.

Bless teachers and school staff. Give them patience when the days are long, creativity when challenges arise, wisdom when difficult decisions must be made, and moments of joy that remind them why their work matters. May they know that the care they offer makes a difference in the lives of others.

Bless parents, grandparents, caregivers, and families as they begin another school year. Give them patience for busy mornings, grace for stressful evenings, and the wisdom to know when their children need encouragement, a listening ear, or simply a little extra love.

And bless our schools and communities. May they be places where every child can learn, every person can belong, questions can be asked, differences can be respected, and kindness can grow.

As backpacks are filled and doors open for another year, remind us that none of us walks into this new season alone. May we carry with us hope, courage, compassion, and the assurance that your love is with us every step of the way.

May this be a year of learning, growing, discovering, and becoming.

And may we, as a community of faith, continue to surround our children, families, teachers, and schools with prayer, encouragement, and love.
