A little about our Women’s Ministry event presenter.
Gail McKenzie serves as the Women’s Ministries Director and Prayer Coordinator for the Kentucky-Tennessee Seventh-day Adventist Conference, a role she has faithfully held for 26 years. She is a devoted pastor’s wife, mother of three—including a special needs son—and a proud grandmother of five. One of her most significant honors was her commissioning into the gospel ministry in 2019!
Gail is a passionate teacher of Bible study and prayer. She has led Zoom Bible studies, Church Bible classes, and presented seminars and retreats across North America. She is also the author of Higher Up/Deeper In, a Bible study designed to help others grow deeper in God’s Word. One of her most meaningful ministry experiences was serving as interim pastor for GracePoint Church in Franklin, Tennessee, where she had the joy of baptizing three women.
Her passion for Women’s Ministries is deeply rooted in teamwork. Gail often shares, “To work side by side with women in teaching, growing, and leading others to Jesus is like no other experience—it has changed my life forever.” This past year, more than 300 women attended the annual KYTN women’s retreat, where 12 made decisions for baptism—a powerful testimony of how God uses women to reach women.
Under her leadership, KYTN Women’s Ministries has expanded to include international outreach in Ireland and Scotland, along with a Reformation tour in 2025. As a 13-year breast cancer survivor, Gail embraces each day as a gift and is passionate about helping others experience the depth of Jesus’ love and their identity in Him.
Her greatest desire is for people everywhere to know who Jesus is, how deeply He loves them, and who they are in Christ. Her signature expression reflects her heart: “At His feet—there is no other place I would rather be.”
