If you see smoke downtown in Lawrenceburg then you're probably at the Rumble at the Crossroads Truck and Tractor pull. This event is Friday and Saturday. The Loretto Farmers Market is Friday at 4:30pm and the Lawrenceburg Farmers Market is Saturday at 9am. The creeks should be up and ready for tubes and kayaks to float. The Levitt AMP concerts are going really well and these concerts are free! They also shoot fireworks at the end if you want to get ready for July 4th! I will put a few flyers in the comments so have a great weekend!

I want you to hear this from me first. I may be selling this page, website, YouTube to others. A few weeks ago I had some emails wanting to buy my website but I didn't know them so I thought about it and offered it to others. I originally wanted to do a live show with my other interest but started focusing on my Amish related pages and this one that has brought me over 127,000 combined followers so far and over 52 million accounts reached according to my Facebook analytics. I feel like I am slipping away from my passions as a short success got me distracted from my goals. IF this deal goes through I will hand this page and resources over but if it does not then I will continue to be here. So has my page ever helped you? Tell me all about it!

A kid could get really tired from all the places you can see in the state below us! When kids are out of school most of us with enough funds say "mountains or beach" but for the rest of us a short round of day trips might be the travel you need. Below are a few places within Birmingham, Huntsville and Florence Alabama. By no means is this list conclusive as each place could get an even longer gallery of photos. Because most of us coming to my page are local, I figured I would show you a bit about places you may not have heard of. Since I have been in the travel and tourism industry for a long time I have been to many of the popular areas and took my wife and daughter to them. I can say a good night or two in a hotel is needed to do everything you would like, but a day trip to a few of them with a return drive will be ok. So do you recognize any of the places below?

Please do this from now on! Each time you go out to eat, take a real photo of your food. You can share it or just keep it for reference later as each of our cell phone photos keep a metadata of where and when the photo was taken. So many of you who complain about the data center are using AI to make your photos and memes and most businesses are using AI to make photos of their food or services. Let's take photos to compare the actual with the advertised! The photos I share are actual food that came to my table. The places I share most have foods that look just like the photos I took when I see other peoples plates. Services like salons, car places, outdoor stores, all keep up their inventories and all this is great! So why use AI when all of us have a camera phone? Why do I have to dig for a real photo to show my daughter what a particular dish looks like? I would be so mad if I seen some of these AI ads with a huge table full of food and get to a place who served me a tiny plate of it. Below are a few places where I let the background and scene speak for itself. Show me some real photos of your foods you ordered and tag them to congratulate them on a job well done, especially if they don't use AI to trick people into believing they are getting something they are not.

Are you seeing new people? There is a good reason as they probably moved here. I found a photo that shows the numbers per state and we're in the top 5. The summer months are hard on businesses who know the kids are out of school and spending is down. Mid year insurances and higher than normal power bills take the rest of your check. Unfortunately Make It Sweet Bakery and Crockett Mills Restaurant are closing and going out of business. There may be more that I haven't heard yet and more that will close soon. I noticed that many businesses are not current on their social media post so they may be quietly quitting. Lawrence County ranks high in unemployment compared to other counties and Maury leads the state. Many of our citizens work in other counties but live here due to the lower cost of living. This might not always be true now that rates are up and talk of the data center and land are hotly contested. It just may be one of the many resets the country has to go through and we must weather the storm. I am staying right here unless someone wants to buy this page and website from me (every person has their price) So if you are new and just moved here and have a bit of money then go out to eat and visit our stores. Go downtown and try to assimilate into our way of living. Help keep our businesses open.

Knives of fury and you get a pass! A pit pass to the All You Can Eat pit pass! Let Hinie's BBQ feed you this Saturday evening! Can you eat all da meat? Nope, I have already tried and now you need to try it with me. This pass goes till they close or they run out of food so let them go home early by going be and giving it a try. It's raining and many events were cancelled so drown your tears in brisket! I think its still around $25 for the pit pass and $37 or so for the upcharge for the addition of ribs and brisket to your pass. Below are a few past pit passes as they usually do a pit pass a few times per year. Call in a designated driver if you get to full as they may also like the patio karaoke so eat until they sing awesome at Hinie's BBQ!

This time of year between kids getting out of school and the summer is slow online so I am doing a bit of self promotion. Honestly I owe Stacie Odeneal $2000 so I need a bit of help. She is a great lawyer and has helped me way beyond her fees so if you are in need of a good lawyer to help you then I would recommend you giver her a call. As many of you know I have had pancreatitis 5 times, heart surgery and many other things so my medical issues have caught up with me and now I am bankrupt. So many things are to expensive and many of us are here working a full time job but seeing the money go so quick there are still bills to pay. I don't have the body for another job in addition. You may see a few things on my page that are not places in Lawrence County as I am trying to sell some things. See the Odeneal Law Firm at their page or in person if you are in the same condition or need help. My advice is never get sick and never believe in yourself and you'll do ok. Here are a few links if you'd like to help me. I do have a few instruments in a secure location if you are interested.
