Major Regional Hubs

Merrimack Valley Food Bank (MVFB) — Serves 32 cities & towns, with pantry/market programs, mobile distribution, etc.

Merrimack Valley YMCA Food Programs — Food pantry in Lawrence & mobile market in Methuen, etc.

Local Community Pantries / Programs

Neighbors In Need (Lawrence / Methuen / Andover) — Weekly pantry schedule, also diapers & supplies.

People’s Food Pantry (North Andover) — Volunteer-run pantry supporting Merrimack Valley residents.

Chelmsford Food Pantry — Address: 50 Rear Billerica Road, Chelmsford, MA. Open Wed/Thu/Fri; free home delivery for Chelmsford residents.

Coalition for a Better Acre Food Pantry (Lowell) — Walk-in pantry at 450 Merrimack St, Tuesday & Wednesday with home‐delivery option for elderly/disabled.

Billerica Community Pantry — Drive-through model by appointment; useful if you live in/near Billerica.

Statewide Referral Resource

Project Bread FoodSource Hotline — Call 1-800-645-8333 (Mon-Fri 8-7, Sat 10-2) for pantry referrals throughout MA.

Tips / Notes

Always call ahead to confirm hours, availability & eligibility (some pantries shift hours).

Bring ID / proof of address when required (though many pantries are flexible in emergencies).

Ask pantry staff about other assistance (utilities, rent help, diapers/formula) — many provide referrals.

Eva Montibello and myself have been talking and we plan to have our first tpusa Merrimack Valley meeting November 12th at 6:00 p.m. at the Roma restaurant in Haverhill Massachusetts in order to be a part of the Haverhill RCC meeting you need to be a registered Republican. If you're independent Democrat trying to make the switch you can go to this website https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/ update your voter registration status to Republican if you want to get involved in the RCC meeting and be a part of our TP USA Merrimack Valley chapter click the link update your voter registration and we will see you there.
