Week 10-11 Recap: We wrapped up our summer with two of our long-time groups, FAITH Camp and Camp Catahoula! Both of these groups had incredible volunteers, a lot of fun and an impactful camp experience for all of the kids! What an honor it is that you would trust us to serve you and be a small part of your camp story!

✨Spotlight Sunday ✨ This week we celebrate our fearless Food Service Director, Lisa! Also known as Granny, she keeps our kitchen running smoothly and brings a wealth of food service experience to our team. She goes above and beyond to provide delicious, high-quality meals and make sure every person feels cared for. Give her a huge thank you when you see her! She's a wonderful member of our team here at Camp Tanglewood!

Week 9 Recap: Another week in the books with three incredible groups here at Camp Tanglewood! From Church International to Ridgeland to Denham Springs, we packed in tribe wars ⚔️, the world's largest beach ball 🌍, slip and slides 🧼💦, and praise and worship that brought the hype 🙌🔥 We are so grateful to serve you and see the Holy Spirit move!

We finished up our very own Camp Tanglewood for Kids and what an awesome few days! We talked about shining the light of Christ, had a lot of fun at the lake, and the yellow team won the most points! Thank you to all the volunteers and partner churches who came, and huge shoutout to the Crossgates team, who programmed everything and lent us their interns to bring the hype! We are so grateful to be able to host local churches in our community and see the Lord at work in their kids.

Week 8 Recap: After a few days of rest, we were so excited to host Crossgates Kids to finish out the week. Dance parties, lots of lake time, color wars and celebratory worship made this week a fun one! We are so grateful to see how excited these kids were to be at camp!

✨ Spotlight Sunday ✨ Let's celebrate the dynamic duo behind the scenes, working hard to provide our guests with delicious meals and a sparkling clean space! They are the right and left hand women of our Food Service Director, putting in the hard work to bring both fun and comfort to every plate all year long. We are so grateful for their presence here. Give a big shout out to Nina and Brandi when you see them!

Week 7 Recap: We wrapped up our 7th week of camp a few days ago, and were so grateful to get to spend the week with Church Alive and Faith Baptist Bartlett. A week filled with neon dance parties, fierce rec competition, and a fireworks show! However, the best celebration by far was the late night baptisms in the lake! What an amazing week here at Camp Tanglewood!

You might find these staffers washing dishes, selling you merch, or serving dinner, but no matter what area, they all show up to serve with a smile! We are grateful for the hard work and joy they bring to everything they do. Give them a big thank you when you see them!
