On June 19th the latest historical marker on the NJ Black Heritage Trail was unveiled for: The Historically Black Borough of Lawnside. Lawnside was founded in the late 1700s and is a well-known stop on the Underground Railroad. Now in its 126th year, Mount Peace Cemetery also a NJ Black Heritage Trail site is featured on this marker.
