FREE CLOTHING GIVEAWAY FEBRUARY 28 2026 10am-1pm

It's time to clean out the bus again! Join us at Price Chapel Church of God fellowship hall to stock up! We still have coats, all season clothing (including baby), shoes, and some miscellaneous other items. BRING YOUR OWN BAG and fill up for free! Event is rain or shine and open to the public.

WINTER STORM POP UP DISTRIBUTION AND SERVICE!

Friday January 30, 6:30 pm - 8 pm. I'll have the bus out at Price Chapel Church for any last minute coat and clothing needs! The church will also be holding our regular Sunday service at 7 so you can warm your body and your spirit at the same time!

Sometimes this work looks like being at events and having a crowd on a good weather day - but sometimes it looks like meeting a need at a gas station on the night of a winter storm and having just the right size shoes.

Praying for the safety of this gentleman over the next few days, and for the manager at the new gas station in Franklin Springs who was kind enough to help make it happen.

Warming station in Franklin Springs this weekend. If you rely on oxygen or other medical devices that need electricity, please consider relocating to temporary shelters like this before the storm.

With the expected weather coming to our area this weekend, there will be a shelter center on the campus of Emmanuel University at the Wrestling Center/Old Gym located at 200 Spring St.

If there is anyone that depends on electrical power for home oxygen, please let us know. If anyone needs assistance during this time, please call 706-988-5344. Any emergency, please call 911.

I am always so grateful for all our donors, but I'm particularly awed by how God uses y'all to continually renew this mission.

To whomever donated the men's 2x coats and sweats at the Lavonia PD, and the kids brand new coats: you are an answered prayer. These items are always in high demand and hard to come by. Your generosity will change lives this week. God sees you, and I pray he blesses all of you ❤️🙏🏻

Starting the new year with a brand new windshield, thanks to a generous donation from LA Heating and Air in Carnesville and the fabulous folks at Novus Glass in Lavonia!

Donations keep this ministry rolling, and we love community partners, so if you or your business would like to get involved reach out! Praying for body work and a simple paint job this year 🙏🏻

When our community shows up, we really show out!! Picked up an incredible haul of donations today that included this authentic vintage men's denim jacket, several beautiful women's coats, and some amazing pieces from a former serviceman stationed in the far east that are insulated for seriously cold weather! The "grand prize" of this load was a coat rated for -60 degree temps that got given away to one of our local unhoused folks before I even got home!

Come see me next Tuesday at Rainbow Pantry and grab something warm!

Side note: if you or someone you know is in the market for some vintage (70s-80s) men's suits with *matching ties and bow ties* reach out! I've got some really great ones!
