We are the youth, college, adults, and parents who comprise the past, present, and future youth ministry @ Laveen Baptist Church.

Our small groups encourage accountability, community, local missions, authentic love, and a deeper understanding of God's Word.

[--Wednesday--]
Wednesday Night Worshp (WNW).....6:15pm-8:00pm
Every Wednesday night we take t

o worship God, dive into His Word, and spend time with friends. Summer Schedule (Deeper).............6:00pm-7:30pm
Over the summer we divide into smaller groups and choose a study that you are most interested in.

[--Events--]
All throughout the year we host many community based, fellowship-building, and evangelistic events that encourage Christian students to connect with others around them. These events are a great source of evangelism as we encourage students to invite their friends who are lost, and share the Gospel with them. Activates have included: Six flags, lake trips, lock-ins, laser tag, bowling, paintball, game nights, movie nights, scavenger hunts, hiking, camping, video game nights, and lots more.

[--Missions--]
We desire our students to become mission-minded youth, to serve as Jesus commanded us to serve; with love, humility, patience, and hope. We have done a variety of community, and local missions, served nationally as we ran VBS in Tacoma, WA and internationally by building houses in Mexico and preaching the Gospel in Mozambique, Africa.

This Friday, 7am to Noon
Come and shop our huge rummage sale at with all proceeds benefitting our Youth Camp scholarship fund. Sale is held indoors, multiple rooms, well organized, and priced to move! EVERYTHING PRICED TO MOVE! Entire room of clothing and accessories, organized. Furniture, toys, bikes, rugs, home decor, tools, sports, pet supplies, luggage, kitchen, books, LPs and more!

Laveen Baptist Student Ministry is raising funds for Zona Camp next summer by putting together a church cookbook. So, dig out those favorite tried-and-true recipes - the ones you make for church potlucks and family get-togethers and get ready to help make the best cookbook ever!

The deadline for submitting recipes is Sunday, October 19th. Recipes can be submitted online; email us at [email protected] and we'll send you the link and login information you need. Or you can make an appointment to come into the church office (602-237-4885) and we'll set you up on the guest computer to enter your recipes.
