The members of St. John’s and St. Paul’s gathered on Sunday, July 18th for the annual church picnic and outdoor worship service. Thank you to Steve and Allison Hein for offering their property near Lake Superior for us to meet this year. Thanks be to God for the nice day – the smoke from the fires had subsided, the sun was shining, and there was even a nice breeze. And most importantly, we thank our Lord for the opportunity to worship Him and share good food and conversation with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The members at St. Paul’s have been busy this summer. On Saturday, June 06 a number of members gathered for a clean-up and maintenance day at church. And on Saturday, July 11 church members again volunteered their time and talents to spruce up the church garage, which included making some needed repair/replacement to the roof and the doors as well as putting a new coat of paint on the exterior. Many thanks to everyone (which included folks from all age groups) for the elbow grease, sweat, and commitment put forth to upkeep St. Paul’s property. This is what Christian service looks like.

On Sunday, April 12th, Terry Mills was formally received into membership at St. Paul’s during the worship service. A brief reception took place downstairs after worship to welcome Terry to the St. Paul’s family.
