🔥 SUNDAY RECAP | BE ABOUT OUR FATHER’S BUSINESS 🔥

What does it really mean to be about our Father’s business?

This morning, we were reminded that true growth starts with Jesus. Everything else flows from our relationship with Him. ❤️✝️

We talked about the different areas—or spheres—of our lives where God calls us to grow:

🏠 Our Home — building godly families
⛪ Our Church — growing together and making disciples
🌎 Our World — being a light without becoming like the world
❤️ Our Relationships — with God, with others, and with ourselves

The question isn’t just, “Do I know what God’s Word says?”
The question is, “Am I actually living it?”

Everyone grows at a different pace, and not everyone will want to change. But there is only one Master over every area of our lives: Jesus Christ.

If we want to grow, we have to be willing to submit to God’s plan, allow His Word to transform us, and put what we learn into practice.

👉 It’s not enough to play church. We are called to BE the church.
👉 It’s not just about knowing. It’s about doing.
👉 It starts with Jesus.

“Be about His Father’s business.” — Luke 2:49

What a powerful word today! 🙌

Today we walked through Mark 5:25–34, the story of the woman who had suffered for twelve long years. She had tried everything, spent everything, and instead of getting better, she grew worse. But when she heard about Jesus, something changed. She believed that if she could just touch His garment, she could be made whole.

Pastor even used a garment as a visual to help us understand what this moment may have looked like. It brought the Scripture to life and reminded us that this woman wasn’t casually reaching for Jesus, she was reaching in faith.

A few reminders we are carrying with us from today:

❤️ What is the posture of our hearts? How many times do we try everything else before finally going to God?

🌱 Ever feel like, “What’s the use?” Keep planting the seed. There may come a time in someone’s life when the one thing they remember is Jesus.

🙌 Jesus wants wholeness for us. The woman came looking for healing, but Jesus stopped and acknowledged her personally.

🌿 Jesus doesn’t just treat symptoms—He touches the root.

We also looked at Malachi 4:2 and the beautiful reminder that there is healing in Him.

Mark 5:34 says, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace…”

What are you reaching out to Jesus for today? Maybe you have tried everything else. Maybe you have been waiting for years. Don’t stop reaching. Don’t stop believing. Don’t stop planting seeds. Jesus is still able to make us whole. ❤️

🔥 **“THE LABORER CAN’T SLEEP.” — Pastor Abednego** 🔥

If you missed today’s special speaker, you missed out on a powerful message and testimony!

Pastor Abednego spoke about what it truly means to be a **laborer for the Kingdom**. He shared how, during COVID in 2020, when so much of the world had shut down, he felt called to go to a park in Columbia and **preach the Gospel**.

What started during an uncertain time didn’t stop when COVID ended. **He kept going.** His dedication was such a powerful reminder that when God calls us to the work, we have to be willing to GO—even when it isn’t easy, convenient, or comfortable.

🌾 There is still a harvest.
❤️ There are still people who need Jesus.
🙌 There is still work to be done.

**“The laborer can’t sleep.”**

That statement really makes you think. Are we awake to the opportunities God is putting in front of us? Are we willing to step outside the walls of the church and reach people where they are?

Jesus didn’t call us just to attend church—He called us to follow Him and help others follow Him too.

❤️ Love like Jesus. Build relationships.
📖 Teach the truth. Share God’s Word.
🙌 Send them out. Make a difference.

Making disciples happens in our homes, our church, our workplaces, our schools, and our community. Every conversation, every act of love, and every opportunity to share Jesus can plant a seed that bears fruit.

John 15:8 reminds us that our lives should reflect God through the fruit we bear. 💜

When we stay connected to Him, His love, grace, kindness, and goodness can be seen through us. May everything we do bring glory to the Father and show others what it truly means to follow Christ.
