What a blessing it was for some of the brotherhood from church to spend the afternoon visiting with one of our oldest deacons, 87-year-old Brother Herbert Clark “Hub”. We sat together talking about the goodness of the Lord, sharing memories of the old days, reading Scripture, and ended in prayer.

Brother Hub spoke about how faithful God has been through the years and how ready he is whenever the Lord calls him home. His words, wisdom, and steadfast faith were a blessing and encouragement to all of us.

Days like today remind us how precious true Christian fellowship really is. Thankful for good men, good memories, and a good God who has carried us all this far.

Today our church family lost a faithful saint of God. At 87 years old, Bro. Rudolph Locklear finished his journey here on earth and stepped into the presence of the Lord he loved so dearly. We rejoice knowing Heaven is sweeter today, but our hearts are praying for comfort and strength for the family in the days ahead. ❤️🙏
