We host live online fellowship and intentional meetups to bridge the gap—reaching the hurt, sick, busy, young, and old with God’s love beyond walls. Mission Statement
Healing Vessels International (HVI) is an apostolic ministry that exists to fulfill the divine call of fostering healing by identifying, recognizing, training, equipping and supporting healthcare workers with a calling of Christian m
inistry upon their lives, in order to strengthen them to combine rigorous scientific and medical excellence with ministerial leadership.
Vision Statement
The vision of Healing Vessels International is to grow into a strong network of churches and collaborative healthcare, educational, social and community-based organizations with demonstrable impact across the world through apostolic leadership. Agape Love
All partners of Healing Vessels International are team members. Team members must strive to uphold the God-kind of love—pure, unbiased, unconditional, and practical. Our relationship with God is based upon this foundation and we extend this God-kind of love to all people.
2. The Gospel
In everything we do, we find ways to share the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is good news and people need to hear and know that God loves them. We invite people to enter into fellowship with Jesus Christ at every opportunity. It is important for us to show people through our individual lives, relationships and stewardship the practical meaning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
3. Service and Servant-leadership
All team members shall perceive themselves as servants of Jesus Christ and servants to people for the sake of Christ. As we conduct our lives and ministries, we must be conscientious that HVI was birthed from a place of humility and obedience. All team members, associates and leaders of HVI must strive to uphold sincere love for people that stems from a refreshing love for Jesus Christ.
4. Transparency and accountability
We must strive to conduct every activity and business in HVI in such a way to withstand even the hardest critic. Financial matters should be separate from the actual work of ministry and designated officers/departments should oversee ministry finances. Regular accounting and yearly audits should be in place as needed to prevent corruption. An external agent, independent from the ministry, be should be charged with the responsibility of auditing each team member in HVI and a complete and official financial report must be compiled at least yearly. If any issues arise, a team member may be subjected to additional accountability requirements as may be needed.
5. Missions
Missions in Healing Vessels International shall focus on those activities that align with our core aim of identifying, recognizing, training, equipping and supporting healthcare workers with a calling of ministry upon their lives with the aim of promoting an excellent combination of medical service with ministerial leadership.
6. Relationships
Building meaningful relationships is our key strategy for ministry. We honor each other by believing the best of each team member. At all times, we will speak the truth in love. Should offenses arise, the offended team member should first seek to make peace with the offender by telling him or her the offense. If this is not effective, then the offended person should seek the help of another team member who then will try to intervene. Gossiping is discouraged as this brings disunity in the house of God. Furthermore, HVI places a great value on marriage and family life. Marriage should never be entered into unadvisedly. When problems arise, couples should work hard to overcome their challenges. HVI shall promote the unity of families and the sanctity of marriage. Marriage and family life should mirror the relationship between our Lord Jesus Christ and the Church. All leaders of Healing Vessels shall commit to the Biblical standard of marriage between a man and woman.
7. Growth
We are committed to growing in effective discipleship and impact. We will seek for opportunities to plant churches, establish organizations, partner with and support other groups who share our values, in our aim to fulfill our God-given vision. Creativity and excellence are highly encouraged and we are committed to equipping our team members to fulfill their destiny and calling in Christ.
8. Diversity
In HVI, we celebrate the diversity of persons, gifts and abilities. We appreciate the contribution of each team member and are willing to support any godly ideas, activities, and initiatives that will promote our God-inspired mission and vision statements. At all times, we will seek to be active team members and must value the whole network as more important than our individual ministries and goals. Statement of Faith: What We Believe
We believe in one God eternally revealed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of
Deity and the characteristics of personhood. II Corinthians 13:14; I
John 5:7. We believe in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures given by the Holy Spirit without error, as He moved upon the men and women of old. Furthermore, we believe that the church has no authority to establish doctrine or practice contrary to those same scriptures, which were subsequently accepted as canon by the early
Christian Church. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was begotten, not created, very God, truly Man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died an atoning death for the sins of the world, resurrected bodily for our justification, and now reigns in glory until all things are put under His feet. We affirm that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and mankind. I Corinthians 15:25; I Timothy 3:16; I Peter 1: 18-21; I Timothy 2:5. We believe that man was made in the image of God and was the crown of God’s creation. He is now, by reason of the fall, spiritually depraved and separated from his Creator. Apart from God’s grace, through faith in Christ Jesus, he has no ability to save himself or regain his place in God. Genesis 1:27; Romans 3: 23-24. We believe in the total depravity of all mankind and the necessity of salvation through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Justification is by grace through faith in our Lord’s sacrifice on the cross. Romans 4:255:1; 12-18. We believe that water baptism is an important symbol of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. We encourage every believer to be identified with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection through water
baptism. Matthew 3:13-17; Mark 16:16. We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, conforming them to the image of Jesus Christ, from the moment of the New Birth. John 15: 26, 16:13; Romans 8:9,14,16; 26-29. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power given by God to anoint the believer for Christian living and ministry. Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4; Galatians 3:14, 5:22-24. We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in I Corinthians 12-14, and as manifested in the early Church. These gifts are to be operated decently and in order. I Corinthians 12:7-11,
14:40. We believe in the Spirit-filled life that empowers the believer toward increasing sanctification until the day of perfection. Although we are in the world, we belong to the kingdom of heaven and not of this world. Through the finished work of Christ, every believer has access to purity, power and prosperity in our earthly walk with God. Ephesians 5:18; II Corinthians 6:14, 7:1; Jeremiah 29:11; Romans 8:28-31; John 17:14-17; 3 John 2. We believe in the healing of the body and mind by God’s miraculous power in its varied aspects as practiced in the Early Church. We also believe that medicine and science are important means by which God provides healing to many across the world. Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:1. We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper as a reminder of the remission, healing and newness given to all believers through the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 11:28-32; Luke 22:26-28. We believe that the New testament Church should be structured under the leadership of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, elders and deacons as God placed them in the local assembly and the universal church. Ephesians 4:11-14; I Timothy 3:113; Titus 1:5. We believe that when a believer dies, he/she enters into a peaceful rest with the Lord Jesus Christ and awaits the resurrection of his/her body to everlasting glory and blessing. On the other hand, when an unbeliever dies, he/she enters into separation from the Lord Jesus Christ and awaits the resurrection of his or her body to everlasting judgment and condemnation. Luke 16:19-26; Revelation 6:9-11. We believe that Jesus Christ will return visibly and in power to the earth and will present unto Himself a victorious and glorious church. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; the just to everlasting joy and blessedness and the unjust to eternal sorrow and condemnation. We further affirm that Satan and his demons will be condemned and punished forever. Matthew 25:41; John 3:17-18; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:10-15.
